Video of one of the first fly.
Very good model! Light ! Awesome flys !
Very good plane for who wants to learn flying or looks for something cheap and not so big to fly with standard 2200 3s batteries to keep in the car and fly everywhere you are.
Best prop for learning is 6x4, for fun 6x5. I would not recommend the 5x5 provided on this setup. Using a colet will burn the motor after some time due to vibrations, I recommend to keep using the o ring and prop saver provided on this 2208 motor.
good jet, although i dont know how to fly. its a good learner plane that can be crashed and quickly put back together with some hot glue :)
awesome plane from beginner to pro you can still have a blast with this plane, very easy to fly and great value for money.
Excellent Plane. After watching youtubes on how to assemble it took about 2 hours, but I was working really slow and it was my first time.
On the second launch, I had it in the air flying all smooth, all over the park. This was my first flight. It even survived a hard landing when I lost sight.
I can't say enough about the build quality, flying experience, and handling. I had a seasoned rc flyer with me, and he was amazed at the balance.
What a great experience with a great plane.
Mine didn't come with glue, but I had my own. I also installed the larger battery 2200mah. I put some tape on the bottom for landings and only glued in one of the rods for the wing (in case i had to take it apart for travel.)
first fly. speed controller wigged out turned off everything and hit the ground. originally thought it was my receiver. repaired plane. different receiver and flew again. same thing. Changed speed controller over to a brand name one and it's fine. so i have a brand new plane which has been repaired twice due to a Dodge speed controller. First real maiden flight was crap while i waited for it to crash again. But no, fly's now i have replaced the speedie.
Overall, very pleased with the AXN, the aileron push rods could do with being a little longer as on my 5th or 6th flight one came loose and fell out, never to be seen again. butchered and old plane and made replacements for both and she flies on
word of warning to new buyers....the included servos ( blue 9g ) are complete an utter crap.
i had to replace the rudder one after the second flight and yesterday the elevator servo jammed and i lost my plane. it crashed 500 meters away as i was unable to regain control with a jammed elevator. my friend and i recovered the plane and i discovered the elevator servo was jammed. i removed the faulty servo. when i opened the faulty servo i found the 3rd gear had broken which jammed it.Another weak point and a design flaw, is the air vent under the motor on the fuselage boom...the opening os the vent is causing a stress point and weakening the tail boom, so on even a belly flop it will snap the boom.
This is my first planeand first fly yesterday evening - First impression is GREAT ... GREAT ... GREAT ... ... GREAT !!!
A lot of FUN, over than 30 min of flying ... much more than with common multicopter or heli ... It's SLOW when you want, and also can be FAST (really enough for me). No unexpected reaction, so easy to handle !!! Only FUN with it !!!
Can't wait next fly :-)
First launch was too dawn and without enough power so ... straight down on the floor without damages :-) second was perfect, gave full throttle and pull ailerons a bit more than first time ... it flies like a charm !!!
If you are beginner like i am with planes ... before flying with it, train yourself on a sim during a few hours ... and it will be ok !
Approach for landing is longer than i expected so first landing was a bit ... "dry", without hard crash, second was better, third was near perfect ;-)
Don't hesitate to buy this model if you want to begin flying RC planes, or/and have lot lot lot of FUN !!! And at that price : I just have to say Thanks a lot HK !!!
