Similar to full size F1 cars, the SP-1 F1 1/10th scale chassis utilizes a high quality 3mm streamlined carbon fiber lower chassis, a 2mm upper deck, and lightweight 7075 aircraft grade aluminum. Chassis stiffness can also be fine tuned using 6 chassis spacers depending on track conditions. Aluminum components, such as the rear pod and center shock are anodized with a stealth black finish. The SP-1 Formula 1 chassis also allows different LiPoly battery positions and configurations. The SP-1 can fit regular size 2 cell or the shorty 2 cell LiPoly packs.

The SP-1 chassis suspension is designed with an innovative dual bellcrank steering system that allows the Ackerman to be fine tuned for precision control. The suspension also allows for infinite camber adjustment and 5° and 10° caster blocks for any type of track condition, indoor or outdoor, carpet or asphalt. The adjustable track width (front and rear) allows the SP-1 chassis to adapt to the various F1 racing specification throughout the world. The track width can be adjusted to 190mm or less with rubber tires and can be adjusted to 200mm when using foam tires. With optional parts, the track width can be adjusted for F1 world spec of 185mm. The SP-1 F1 1/10th scale chassis can adapt to various aftermarket foam or rubber tires.

The SP-1 F1 1/10th scale chassis is designed with a centrally located, large volume shock that is attached to a carbon fiber mounting plate. A new storm is on the horizon. The Hobby King Arcus F3A biplane is on the leading edge of model design with premium features, ease of assembly, and precision flight characteristics in mind.

Requiring no glue to assemble, the all EPO airframe simply bolts and snaps together. On this model it's all in the details that sets it apart from other foamies. Pushrods feature ball links on the control horns for precision, bind free movement. The multi-color decals come pre-applied saving you time and trouble. Accessing the receiver and battery is easy thanks to the magnetically secured hatch. Should you need to access the motor, even the molded plastic cowl is secured with magnets. Rugged aluminum landing gear, light weight foam wheels and molded wheel pants round out the Arcus. Due to the low parts count and no glue design, the Arcus can be assembled and ready to fly in around 30 minutes, including radio programming.

Flying the Arcus is a treat. The long tail moment, combined with light wing loading and ample power give you a stable, predicably flying model. Take off requires little to no rudder input. Rolls are crisp thanks to the ball links on the pushrods and slave struts. With gobs of power on tap, the Arcus will loop from here to the moon. The large propeller provides plenty of braking action in the downlines to avoid over speeding. If you like doing knife edges, the Arcus is where its at. No roll or pitch coupling here. Just apply a touch of rudder, control the throttle to your pleasing, and the Arcus will knife edge until the cows come home. Finally, when the time comes, throttle back, and the Arcus settles in to a nice sink rate for a perfect 3-point landing every time.*

The Fly Baby is a single-seat, open cockpit, folding-wing monoplane that was originally designed in 1960 to compete in the first (and so far, only) EAA design competition. It is built primarily of wood, with fabric covering. Most are powered by Continental A-65, C-75, C-85, or O-200 engines. Performance is sprightly; a bit better than that of, say, an Aeronca Champ.

As a sport scale model, our Fly Baby EP is just like its full scale brethren. Built of all wood, having a fiber glass cowl, and even flying wires, we have re-created Pete Bowers famous design just for you. Requiring no glue to assemble, the all EPO airframe simply bolts and snaps together. On this model it's all in the details that sets it apart from other foamies. Pushrods feature ball links on the control horns for precision, bind free movement. The multi-color decals come pre-applied saving you time and trouble. Accessing the receiver and battery is easy thanks to the magnetically secured hatch. Should you need to access the motor, even the molded plastic cowl is secured with magnets. The North American B-25 Mitchell was a American twin-engined medium bomber manufactured by North American Aviation. It was used by many Allied air forces, in every theater of World War II, as well as many other air forces after the war ended. It saw service over for over four decades.

The B-25 was named in honor of General Billy Mitchell, a pioneer of U.S. military aviation. By the end of its production, nearly 10,000 B-25s in numerous variations had been built. These included a few limited variations, such as the United States Navy's and Marine Corps' PBJ-1 patrol bomber and the United States Army Air Forces' F-10 photo reconnaissance aircraft.

The B-25 gained notoriety in the second world war when Lieutenant Colonel Jimmy Doolittle attacked mainland Japan four months after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The mission gave a much-needed lift in spirits to the Americans, and alarmed the Japanese who had believed their home islands were inviolable by enemy forces. Although the amount of actual damage done was relatively minor, it forced the Japanese to divert troops to the home defense for the remainder of the war. The B-25 cemented its place in the history books as the 16 bombers took off from the USS Hornet and successfully bombed Tokyo along with four other Japanese cities without loss.

Our B-25 Mitchell is a sport scale model with just the right amount of detail to please, yet isn't overly complicated. Rugged electronic retracts and operating wing flaps add to the scale appearance. The model is mostly bolt together with the only parts to glue being the vertical fins. We've added a nice touch, a PCB board that your wing connections plug into. Only two connectors are requred to connect the wing to the fuselage which makes going to the field a breeze. All of this, along with the wing bolts and the battery are accessed through the magnetically secured battery hatch. Adding to the realism of the model are the 3-blade counter-rotating propellers and a full complement of faux machine guns.

Flying the B-25 is also a treat. Ample power is on tap for quick, Doolittle style take-offs, and the flaps slow the model down with minimal pitch changes for scale like landings. Seeing the model in the air is facilitated by the scale navigational lights! Just like the real thing, rolls are slightly off axial. Loops as big as you want them are easy to accomplish, as is a not so scale like inverted flight.

Today i had a chat with Stepanni and about 15min after the chat i received a mail with a solution for my problem.

@WTWUK: The voltages are a little bit low, but allmost ok. All cells have about 4.19V when they are fully charged.

@Clark06000: Ich discharged them 7 times to 3.0V per Cell with a dischargerate of 1C.
After each discharge i let them cool down for about 30min and then recharge them with 1C.
Even if I take 3500mAh out of fully charged 5000mAh lipo, it should not drop below 3V/cell.
Normaly when i fly my TT-X50e i consume about 80% of its capacity and then i can mesure a cell voltage of about 3.5 - 3.7 Volts.
The problem is, that cell number 6 drops below 3V after 3.500mah. At this moment all other cells stay above 3.7V.

@Daithi: The capacity of a lipo is not "mA/h" it is "mA*h". You can also say i charged a capacity of 12600 Coulomb to the lipo which is equeal to 3.5Ah.
It means that you can take out 3.5A for 1 hour or 1A for 3.5h.
It is not how much it consumes in period of time, it is how long you can consume at a specific rate.

Now, the 1 thing I am missing is a battery monitor and having already destroyed 1 battery accidentally by keeping it plugged into the ESCs overnight, I would like to keep this new battery going strong.

I read that you should take your batteries mAh value, multiple by .8, then divide by your motors mAh needs and multiply that by 60 to get minutes. This would give you a rough estimate on your battery life.

Now I don't know what my motors mAh needs are but I am using the motors that come with this kit. When I googled around, it said that these have a max draw of 10.2A. Using my above formula I get:

4500 * .8 / (10200 * 4) * 60 = 5.2 minutes.

This seams awefully short, ecpecially with the ~1 hour charge time that I need. Is this correct though?

Secondly:
Since I currently do not have a battery monitor, I was thinking of doing some short, couple minute flights and measure the voltage from the battery after each flight using a multimeter. Once it drops to ~9V, I will call it a day. Is this OK for the first go or not?shiznatix2014-04-16 20:07:19]]>
