B-Grade Lithium Polymer packs are great for those not-so-important models or testing. They have a high internal resistance (thats bad), normally wont last past 60 full high-discharge cycles and may become puffy over time.
B-Grade packs are structurally sound, but lack the performance of our A-Grade packs such as Flightmax, Rhino and TURNIGY.
hexTronik usually sells B-grade batteries to smaller vendors who in turn sell online at a discount. However we're now offering them to you at discounted prices, for those not-so-serious applications.

if you use it rarely, but you need it, it is a good deal.

used this battery for the first time today. No difference from standard battery.

Yeah after some time you can play foot ball with it :)

Well now, over 30 cycles on it and it is still going strong. It will only charge to 4.19VDC per cell now. It is starting to show a little uneven discharge in that individual cell voltages are varying by a bit, but no worse than my other Turnigy 3S-20C batteries.

if you need it for an engine started why buy a grade A ??

Made my day LOL.

Somewhere I read they also go buying beer for you to the liquor store!

It will be safe, no problems there. However, it will not last for very long if run at 20C.

I bought two of these and after 8 charges and discharges they both only accept 3000 millamps each, Ive ballanced the cells aswell.
I should have just bought 3000mah batterys then

I just received (3) of these packs today & one is DOA, the whole pack reads 2.45 Volts on my multimeter & that is the whole pack! I contacted Hobby King & they told me to "go pound salt" as B-Grade batteries have no warranty. I told them I don't need a warranty but I DO expect them to come out of the box at least alive & not DOA but they would not budge. Trust me don't buy these as it is a **** shoot if you get packs that work. They told me that these are shipped "AS IS" & they mean it so if you want packs that works buy Turnigys or Zippys.

I bought 3 of these hoping for some extra long FPV flights. 2 have a very low volt cell that does not seem to want to charge up, not happy. Did not come balanced at all, 3.81v, 3.75v, 3.91v. the lowest volt cell got to 3.8 and stayed there.
I have saved batteries beore by discharging cycling a few times. these are coming up slowly, but not as good a deal as lead to believe.3 stars because it came with deans plug - my favourite.

I bought one.
1.cell 3.70 V
2.cell 3.72 V
3.cell 0.00 V
1 cell is death
not recomended

I got 6 packs and a Parallel charging Board, all my cells checked out fine, I use them instead of my lead acid to recharge my batteries in the field. I don't have to carry that heavy car battery anymore so I offset the cost by saving on my chiropractor, LOL...

As received. Cell 1: 4.0v, cells 2 & 3 3.85v. It took a long time at a 0.1A charge rate to get the battery to 4.2v/4.19v/4.19v. No field tests yet as the initial charge was just completed. I only gave it 4 stars due to the significant cell voltage differences.

I bought three of these to power a small charging station for my park flyers. One of the three came with a dead cell. You get what you paid for I guess.

I purchased (3) of these packs & they arrived yesterday afternoon. 2 of the packs look good but the third pack is flat out DOA right out of the box, the voltage reads 2.45 Volts & that's for the whole pack! I contacted Hobby King & they basically told me to "go pound salt" as B-Grade packs have no warranty. I tried to explain to this individual that I don't need a warranty but the pack has to at least come out of the box ALIVE. I was told that it did not matter & that I was out-of-luck. I asked her if they test the packs before they ship & she said yes but they obviously missed this one & she said she would uinform the warehouse to check better, gee thanks that helps a lot. Look, I expect that these are B-Grade Lipos but a DOA brick is an F-GRADE. Just be aware that you are rolling the dice if you buy these packs, OK?

The first pack I've bought worked ok. Will see if this one will do the same.
