3s stands for 3 cells so 4s is 4 celss. each lipo cell is 3.2 volts when when at its safe discharged state and 4.2 when fully charged. so a 3s lipo is 9.6 volts and when charged to full 12.6 volts.
the 4s will be 12.8 volts to 16.8 volts.
so in answer to your question, it depends what you are powering with the battery.

Is it safe to change this lipo plug to a XT60? (max 60 A continuous) I will use on a quadcopter with 4x motors that consumes: 251W - 17A each. All my systems have XT60. Any advice?
absolutely safe. i do this all the time and use xt60 connectors for anything upto 80 amps. i have only just started using 6mm bullet connectors for my 120amp models.
1C of a 5000mAh 4s is 5 amps output. I am not sure if you are asking what 1C means for a charge cycle or not. If you are it is also 5 amps. Hope this answers your question. Martin
iv got a fishing bait boat that i want to upgrade, its runnung a 12 wiper motor and 2 x 7.2 a 12v bateries... was thinking of the turnigy G32 770kv motor with a BIRD-100A-B - Birdie 90A Brushless ESC w/ 3A BEC a Turnigy 5000mAh 4S 25C Lipo Pack and a new HK-6DF-M2 - HobbyKing HK6S 2.4Ghz FHSS 6Ch Tx & Rx mode 2 remote . do you think the combination will work?
After working in a local hobby shop here in illinois and a customer service rep for Horizon Hobby i can say that these batteries perform just as well as the high end labels. I have used several of them in my Losi 8ight and never had a single issue.
Mine also have 8AWG wire. They are to big for 4mm plugs but I just cut a bit of the tip of the wire so that they do fit. Not ideal but it does the trick.
I've ordererd two to try in my brushless hotbodies. I will let you know how they perform in it (it's got a novak HV 6,5T setup). I will also check the gauge on it.
I've ordered one to try with my Losi 8eight 2.0E stock. Hope they perform better than the FlightMax that I sent to RMA. Will let you know how they fit.
Fits the losi 8E well. run times are about 14-18 minutes.

i brought one of these to try in my 33" mono race boat wich runs a 9xl 447/3 prop, i normally run 4s2p this setup pulls around 80 amps after a hard run i checked the battery and it was only 40c (104f) i think theses are as good if not better than the zippy

Run this with my CC Mamba Monster in my 8ight-t Truggy getting about 20-25 min run times on the track gear 48t/15t getting 2 more they are such a fine pack
