Not long coz maybe a week I had them in my wishlist when I came back a few days later they were sold out, I was ***med cos here they are $3.50-$4.99 for 3 at a local shop. Hopefully they'll restock these soon, I have 3 sets ear marked.
I too had them in my cart and I was waiting for them to restock it for 2 weeks ..now I removed it ordered the remaining items...will get this on my next order..
I use a lot of these connectors but mainly the female end for use on the ESCs I have lots of male connectors left over when is hobby king going to offer single connectors instead of the pairs.
In shops specialized in fishing, has for sale some metal tubes used to attach steel cables. Look for a tube whose inner diameter is suitable for the fitting of the male plug. These tubes are made of metal compatible with solder, cost much less than the connectors and can be used in emergency
If you put them in cart and go to check out they will want to know shipping info and you will punch it in and they will give you a price and estimated delivery time for that product.
If you know the weight of the product, at the bottom of the website there is an option that says "shipping charges": here you are the types of shipments along with prices. Click there and look. The time should not exceed two weeks (10 to 15 days).
Well that's true but it did take them almost a week and a half to even ship everything out even when my entire order was "instock"... Im just saying hobbyking is sorta infamous for taking awhile to receive your order from.
Sometimes items gets stuck in custom Inspection,
and eventhough other transport services are fast customs may take longer than shipping time. I have very bad experience of my items stuck for 21 days in customs iin India
And to Russia - up to 4 months, lol. But if you're in the USA, it takes about 3 weeks, as far as I know. HK ships out the order in about 2 days, so it's a fault of the shipping companies.
anywhere between a week to 3 weeks for me in Canada. Two weeks average on most packages. Smaller ones seem to get here faster. The slowest ones are the orders that have backordered items in them can take 4-8 weeks etc.
hard to find just one or the other and sometimes the motors bullet connectors can be a loose fit. Its good to by in pairs. Also always good to have extras.
im in agreement with everyone above and ive only seen the jst -xh female connectors for battery connections.plus you cant beat the price of .when im making an order ill add these plus prop savers if i have room(postage)great to have backup stock if needed .happy flying
Yes this type of connectors supports 50A perfectly! If you overcome the power you should use 4mm gold connectors in order to increase the section of the connector.
Quick response needed
Would this fit on a FC 28-12 Brushless Outrunner 1534kv(PRODUCT ID: FC2812) and a HobbyKing 20A BlueSeries Brushless Speed Controller(PRODUCT ID: HKz20A)
Bonjour! Je pense qu'ils vont travailler, mais peut-ê*tre est que 4.0mm peu mieux. En ce qui concerne Hola! Creo Que van a. Trabajar, pero tal vez 4,0 mm es un poco mejor Saludos
I'm trying to build a tricopter..so how many of these should I purchase for accommodating the three motors ?? Pls help me...I'm a newbie in this field !!
each motor and esc combo require 3 male and 3 female plugs unless they come with plugs already. so for a tricopter you would need 12 male and 12 female plugs in total. Hope this helps.
Thanks a lot Ryan..but could u pls elaborate on the plugs..I have purchased the Turnigy plush 60A esc and the Turnigy Aerodrive sk3-3530-1340Kv brushless outrunner motors. Pls explain with respect to this combination and tell me if I have to purchase these connectors.
Eagerly looking for ur answer !!!
Since you are using a 60A esc these plugs would be the minimum I would use. If I were you I would move to the 4mm gold connectors just for added security.
Small correction, Ramann. Three motors times three connectors would be nine each of the male and female 4mm. Make sure you get some heat shrink tubing to cover up the exposed surfaces so they donè*t short circuit against each other. Happy Flying!
Hello my friends, I think you miscalculated... for a tricopter (3 motors x 3 pairs) = 9 pairs, not 12. So only one pack of 10 pairs should solve your problem. I guess he thought in a quadcopter...
They are easy. Just make sure the wires are well soldered AND protected with shrink tubes. If you have shrink tubes that are tight and clings to the connected, they will be easier to connect/disconnect.
Yes, they are easy to plug or unplug. It is a good idea to add heatshrink over the connection to ensure they don't accidently disconnect during use. This is espcially important for ESC to motor/battery connections. You don't want to lose a motor during flight due to a loose connection.
I actually have my motor connected with velcro and these are the ESC > motor connection pins. They disconnet quite well on a heavy impact. Reconnect and fly again. Goto love flying a combat (almost indestructable) flying wing.
you placed your answer in the question box. if you want to answer somones question you need to click the reply button just below the question posed. but i agree yes sure these are easy to unplug i assume thats what your trying to answer.
Just amazing connectors for small park flyers. I am using them on my 30 inch YAK foamy. Use them for motor connection for 2822 motor to 25 Amps Esc. Highly recommended. Solid connection and very easy to solder.

These are the same as supplied with most HXT motors and are thus interchangeable. Use with 5mm HXT heatshrink as the thicker part of the cable bucket is 4mm dia (4mm insulation is too tight a fit especially if there is any solder on the outer surface of the bucket). Excellent value for money.

Very good quality, independend from the nice price. Easy to solder, fits very well also to other brands and easy to connect / disconnect. A big advantage is the short length. Best for narrow fuselages in combination with silicone cables. Perfect for currents less than 60 A.

For hassle free assembly. Hold them vertically in a small bench vice (be gentle). Apply a large iron (around 80 watts)with a tinned and clean tip to the side of the connector. Melt the solder into the hole where the wire sits. Either have the wire protruding through the small hole in the side of the connector or for larger wire push it into the connector while heating the side with the iron. Don't move anything until it solidifies! After it cools, finish by sliding 5mm heatshrink tube over the joint and shrinking onto the connector. Works every time.
