Ralf, this prop 1s 160mm long (using a tape measure). The bixler 1.1 comes with 2 props: 1 is the same size as bix 1, the other one is very sligtly shorter than this TGS prop. And the one coming with the plane fits with a 1-2mm gap between the tip and the fuselage.
Thanks for that, Yea that translates into a 6 1/4 inch prop!! that's why it won't go on!!!, I have 2 of these props and mine ARE 6" or 152mm! there must be different batch's of them and your one is NOT 6x4 but 6 1/4 x 4!! Thanks again for confirming that for me I'll put the B1.1 back on the to get list! if you still need a 6x4 I used a master Airscrew on my bonsai and it WAS 6x4 and works brilliantly
Methaldehyde if you have a Prop Balancer you can trim the prop. I have trimmed many props. It is always good to measure the amount removed so you remove the same both ends. Also you should balance the prop after trim.
I have a bixler 1 it takes the 6x4 no problem, are you saying that the B1.1 takes a smaller prop than the B1?? I thought it was supposed to take a bigger prop that's why they changed the body, .........Can you do me a favour and measure the prop's length and let me know exactly the length please, I'm considering a B1.1 (amongst a myriad of others) but if a 6x4 does'nt fit I'll give it a miss. thanks.
I was unhappy with the Thrust from the standard Prop on my RadJet800,so i ordered some of these and my RadJet came alive!Exellent thrust on hand launching wich is vital with this aircraft,i was going to up-grade the standard motor but no need to now-its a 5 out of 5 for me :)
