All you will need is your own receiver, transmitter and lipoly battery. The ESC is equipped with a cooling fan and is ready to handle 2S Lipoly.
The aluminum motor mount includes cooling fins and a solid clamp style mounting system to ensure your truck will handle the rough stuff and keep coming back for more. The heavy duty metal drive shaft will keep putting the power down to the large 110mm short course truck tires. Traction to all four wheels is maximized via the three oil filled differentials (front/center/rear) providing race-ready handling.
The updated SCT 4x4 now includes proper short course style racing wheels, new softer compound tires for increased traction and improved handling, as well as a newly designed, aggressively styled body shell.
This truck features fully adjustable suspension and oil filled shocks to fine tune the ride to the conditions of your favorite track or bashing spot. The innovative and adjustable battery compartment will accommodate a wide variety of different packs.

This is a great value car, I've had loads of fun with it as my first RC car. However, I now need a new ESC for it (my fault for damaging it). Do I need a sensored or sensorless one please? I've no idea what this means. Many thanks for any advice. Trevor
I would bet it is sensorless. If there are only 3 wires between the esc and motor it is sensorless. If it was sensored you would have the three wires and an additional multi wire harness plugged in between the motor and esc.
This rc car is tons of fun, if you buy from overseas get yourself some parts though. The parts you will need is a couple arm sets. (if you hit a rock or some solid object where it protrudes and strikes the arm it will break) The arms are super easy to replace. Get yourself some shafts for the arms, you can bend them back just use a vice and wrap the shaft in a towel. Works well. I struck a rock doing maybe 30. This car is VERY fun on the street as well I have an 1100 watt setup and it handles very well, the tires have just the right amount of slide for high powered drifting but enough grip to do some real high speed runs and not spin out. The center diff is nice because you get wheel spin the the front rather than the back causing you to fishtail on high speed runs. The motor that comes with the RC is great though. It's rare that you would break anything other than those arms on stock power. I have literally tried. Smashing up and down curbs, then I used an 1100watt motor on 3s, 45c lipo, struck a tree and still only cost 20 dollars to fix. Broken bumper and broken battery mount.
If you wanting a high power rc cheap this setup is right for you.
Also pick up an aluminum steering kit if your going to the track and a heavy duty servo arm. Hard hits on the walls can take out the plastic linkage eventually. A high torque bb metal gear servo is a must on the track. A good amount o

This car is a huge value for the money. I'm impressed with the features and build quality. Off the bat the car does not have any issues. All of the tires are installed correctly, the gear mesh is good, the shocks are well filled. The only gripe is that the suspension tends to bind a little, but its not the screws on the shocks like in Jang's review on youtube. It seems to be on the ball cups on the bottom. After a few jumps the binding is gone. It handles quite nicely and is plenty fast on 3s lipo. I love this truck and plan on getting upgrades for it. I fully recommend it.

This is a great truck. Excellent value for money, extremely quick on 3s Lipo. The only thing I found to be a problem is that the shocks do not hold oil, that is an easy fix though if you buy the better quality aluminium ones. Another thing that broke was the plastic end of the tie rod after my brother flew it into a tree, but those parts are very cheap to replace also. Overall this truck is great for the money and with a few little adjustments and modifications is an amazing truck. Just make sure you have a few spare parts on hand.
