Walkera QR Ladybird Ultra Micro Quadcopter RTF (Mode 2)

Walkera QR Ladybird Ultra Micro Quadcopter RTF (Mode 2)
Walkera QR Ladybird Ultra Micro Quadcopter RTF (Mode 2)

Finally a ready to fly micro quadcopter that requires no setup or tuning. Just charge the batteries and fly!

The QR Ladybird features leading edge technology including a 6-axis gyro stabilization system making this micro quad ultra stable. Normally, building and setting up of a quadcopter requires lots of time, tuning and having to choose your own power system/components. The Ladybird takes away all of the complicated setup and makes it as easy as opening the box, charging the batteries and flying!

The Ladybird is very capable with plenty of power to spare. In normal mode, it's stable flight characteristics make it stress-free for the less experienced quad pilot. Switch it to aerobatic mode and it's very responsive for those looking to push it to it's limits. When in aerobatic mode, the responsiveness is greatly increased which allows for flips, rolls and loops to be performed!

From basic flying to amazing quad aerobatics, the QR Ladybird does it all. All this and it's still small enough to fit in the palm of your hand!

The Ladybird comes completely ready to fly with the Walkera 2402D 2.4gHz transmitter included. The 2402D features an easy to read backlit LCD display and is very ergonomic. This package also includes the flight battery, USB dual battery charger and spare propellers.

Try to recalibrate the accelerometer and make sure the props are on correctly

*Jurgen, I know one version comes with a camera pre-installed. The controller has a video receiver screen to view the video live or you can hookup a dvr. You can also use FatShark video goggles and fly that way. Youtube it.

I asked some advices about the Turnigy Talon Tricopter (V1.0) Carbon Fiber Frame as my son is getting 10 the next month and wants a Tri- or Quadcopter in order to mount the GoPro 3 Black edition that we bought the last week. A boy answered me that as my son is a beginner would be better to start with the Walkera QR X350 and that it can carry the camera too. I'm not clear about this last thing, could someone explain me how can I mount the camera on the Walkera during the flight? I would really apreciate that.

Hi Jurgen, if you look at theQRX 350 on this site you'll find an accessories tab next to the battery tab just below the line where the price is listed. You'll find a go pro gimbal listed there and you might want to select different pitch props for carrying the cam...also a battery adapter.

I've had to replace the 3.3V regulator on the pcb, twice so far. I think it may be a bit under-rated. I'll try a 250mA device next time, if I have another failure. They sypmtoms are ... No LED showing or the LED appears duller and the ladybird behaves erratically.

Hi this model works on 3 axis gyro?
 Banj0 38 points
Old question, but I'll chip in. Generally this is referred to as a 6-axis system. Not that there's 6 axis really, but there's a gyro (measures movement about the axis) and accelerometer (movement along the axis) for each of the 3 axis. The quads commonly advertised with a 3 axis gyro do not have the accelerometers. Ladybird V2 is 3. This one is 6.

I don't personally own one ( for now :p ), but I have flown one that belongs to a friend. I can only say I'm super impressed with this little piece of kit!! This is your ideal living room quadcopter! It's super stable, yet will do crazy things if you tell it to. i haven't flown it outdoor myself, but I've been told it will perform pretty good in windy conditions too!! 5/5 no doubt!

These little quads are fantastic perfect for in the lounge and a really good trainer for larger quads. They can even handle a little wind outdoors with no problems, just keep it close it gets tiny really fast, loops and rolls are cool too.You get around 7mins flight time so thats pretty good you just need a few batteries. All said its a really stable micro quad, please hk get some bigger ready fly quads in Aus! Cheers,Pete

What a jolly fun machine! Fully marks for packing and quality. I wish HK had spare batteries on stock with this particular connection.
I was not able to bind receiver and transmitter the way it was described in the manual. I had to turn receiver on first and then transmitter.
Nevertheless, I'm really enjoying it.

This is a dream come true: super stable, super agile RC model that you can fly in your living room. Mine came wth Mode 2 transmitter but I fly mode 1. The change was easy enough: open the backside, take out the metallic plate from the left stick, replace it symetrically to the right stick, take out the screw that blocks the spring effect on the left stick, put it back on the right one. Then change on the interface to select the proper mode electronically. Done. Overall, highly recommended!
