is this ESC pre programed with manufactures settings or do i need the progam box in order to use this at all ????

if you mean 4 pole then yes it will handle 4 pole motors

bought this to put into my 1/8 buggy, coupled with the turnigy motor, not a bad esc but not a good one either. The programming card for this esc is HUGE and has very limited options, the fan on this esc easily gets stuck as there isn't really any protection from the grass and grit that gets into it. You cannot engage reverse until the car has come to a COMPLETE stop, this is by far the worst part of the esc. On the plus side this thing stays super cool, barely gets warm even after 20 minutes of non-stop bashing. I got this esc purely cause i wanted to try something cheap, and i can't say i'm dissapointed, nor am i impressed. Under a tight budget i doubt you can find anything close to this price.

I bought this as a cheap 1/8 conversion, along with HK motor and HK radio. It doesn't play with HK radio but It works with my Futaba. It now stops papers blowing off my desk.
