They balance great!! I like them better than 2 blade for that reason. Now, the only reason I use 2 blade props is if I have a fold-able multirotor that will not allow for having 3 blade props. Hope this helps and Happy flying!
RC2211, The fold-able multirotors have to have 2 blade so the blades fold up nicely. The 3 blade props run into each other and will not allow it to fold neatly. I like using tape because if you add too mych, you can always trim a little off, not enough and just add a little. Sanding just took to long for a person as impatient as I am when I want to get something in the air.. Ha ha!
RC2211, They most definitely do. I don't think they will go any faster than 2 blade at full speed, but they get there quicker in the same diameter and pitch. So that said, with a craft that hovers, it helps tremendously. Plus, for less vibration, they balance so much better. When I've balanced 2 blade, although the blades counter balanced each other, one side was always heavier than the other making them vibrate. Every now and then I've been able to balance 2 blade that well but not usually. The 3 blade are so much smoother in flight with great acceleration which may be attributed to the lack of vibration. All the best and Happy flying!
