I meant: QAV 250, its takes a 5x3 props 2 CW and 2 CCW. What would happen if I put them on??
 airbiscuit 212 points
Should work. For me 2 Props vs 3 Props the difference is more or less can be ignored. I am using these on my HK FPV250 and also used 2 Props as well. Both setup flies good for me. Good luck.

How do these props balance?
 RonRC 3691 points
They balance great!! I like them better than 2 blade for that reason. Now, the only reason I use 2 blade props is if I have a fold-able multirotor that will not allow for having 3 blade props. Hope this helps and Happy flying!

Really? I've only ever used 2 blade props. Do they give better performance? Thanks for the video though. I'll try them out. (BTW, what foldable multirotor will not fit 2-blades?)
 RC2211 359 points
Using tape is a good idea, I've always been using sandpaper to take a little off of the heavy blade on my 2-blades.
 RonRC 3691 points
RC2211, The fold-able multirotors have to have 2 blade so the blades fold up nicely. The 3 blade props run into each other and will not allow it to fold neatly. I like using tape because if you add too mych, you can always trim a little off, not enough and just add a little. Sanding just took to long for a person as impatient as I am when I want to get something in the air.. Ha ha!
 RC2211 359 points
Lol, but I definitely understand! It will take me several hours of sanding to prep all (including backups) of my props for one multi rotor. Do 3-blade props give noticeably better performance?
 RonRC 3691 points
RC2211, They most definitely do. I don't think they will go any faster than 2 blade at full speed, but they get there quicker in the same diameter and pitch. So that said, with a craft that hovers, it helps tremendously. Plus, for less vibration, they balance so much better. When I've balanced 2 blade, although the blades counter balanced each other, one side was always heavier than the other making them vibrate. Every now and then I've been able to balance 2 blade that well but not usually. The 3 blade are so much smoother in flight with great acceleration which may be attributed to the lack of vibration. All the best and Happy flying!

Thanks for all of the info! I'll definitely use 3-blades from now on in future multirotors.

pefect little blades and I recomend them. They seem to be balanced right out of the package. you will need a prop holder you can't put them on a prop saver.

good props for a micro, a bit high draw for 1811-2000kv on 3s but they have worked fine

perfectly balanced props. I'm using them on my 2000kv C20 brushless motor, maybe a little too much for running it on a 3s. I'll try 'em on a quadcopter.
