Hobbyking ZYX 3-Axis Flybarless System USB Program Adapter
This is the USB adapter for the Hobbyking ZYX 3-Axis Flybarless System. This device will connect your ZYX to the computer to allow you to setup and fine tune your flybarless system. It will also allow you to perform firmware updates on your device. This makes it much easier than going through the standard stick programming from your transmitter.
The ZYX program software also allows you to choose from preset flight profiles depending on what style of flying you plan to do, such as "Beginner", "F-3C", "3D Soft", "Hard Core 3D" and "Extreme 3D".

In windows\system32\driver you find ser2pl.sys
replace this for an older version ,maby in windows old
The ser2pl.sys that i use is from 2007 and you will see it works.
The driver version 1.7.0 does NOT support pl2303hxa Chip with windows 8. Google „*pl2303hxa windows 8 workaround“* there is a description how to change from V1.7.0 to V1.5.0 the older version works
I cant get it to connect I have loaded the drivers Pc says it it is working properly thats it no further joy del program and reloaded still no joy HELP HELP
It can be a pain to get it to connect. It took me a few tries to get mine connected. Just follow instructions carefully as they can be hard to follow if your not use to doing it.
You have to have the gyro fully connected to the receiver, and all plugs in. Then connect USB to pc and check which port you have it connected to, set that port on the software (com port (no)) power up the receiver and gyro. plug in the gyro lead then press connect.
Make sure you have the drivers installed (check the device manager if a new com port is shown after the adapter is plugged in to the PC).
Then
Power the gyro, wait for initialization, connect the adapter to gyro (it can be connected during gyro power on), connect it to pc, wait for a few seconds, run the program, try to connect.

I also tryed to upgrade my Tarot zyx and not it wont even connect to the reciver. Will reflashing it to 2.5 really work? That would be awesome. How do you do that?
hi mate there is a 3.5 version now and it works awesome. They erased a lot of bugs and it is more stable than before. remember to flash only with zyx3.5 for zyx and only zyx-s3.5 for zyx-s or you will destroy it.
I do not know if I explained it must be the translated my Spanish I mean the program itself, not the USB key that it works properly, is that in my windows 7 does not display properly the screen to the system progaramar FBL when I try to adjust it gives an error of compatibiladad windows 7, this happens if I do it in windows XP.
My question is if there is another good solution for viewing the program in windows 7.

Yeah actually look at the files folder. There's instructions to show you how to get win7 to go into test mode and force recognize the driver as a signed driver. After that configuration, you restart computer and go ahead and install the driver and now it should work. Cheers!
Firstly you must have the cable plugged into the USB adapter with the pin locks facing up, they are the 4 metal sections on the plug as shown in the product picture. Next make sure the USB adapter is communicating on 1 of the first 6 com ports. If you have the cable plugged into the USB adapter the wrong way you may have damaged the gyro. Also you have to have the gyro hooked up to the receiver, powered on and your radio turned on. Wait for the gyro to finish initialising and calibrating before trying to connect.
The USB adapter I received, not from hobbyking, had 2 bridged solder points on the output pins which damaged my gyro, might be worth checking the USB adapter's circuit board to see if there are any bridged solder points. There is a small gap in the case on top, on the front side of the USB plug, just slide a small blade screwdriver in and lift gently. The case will pop apart and you can lift the circuit board out to inspect it.

2.Open the Firmware in ZYX PC software.
3.Keep the PC,USB adapter and ZYX gyro connecting.Power off ZYX gyro,press "SET" button of gyro and power on.
4.The red lamp is flashing,click "Upgrade" button to start upgrade,the ZYX gyro will restart after successful upgrade.
Note: (The ZYX gyro does not need to be setup again)
