I love it how when you give a bad review on something, for some strange reason, IT DOESN'T SHOW UP!!!!! I've been dealing with HK a long time. But never has a packing job been so terrible as the one I just got. Everything was just thrown into one bag. No separation or bubble wrap at all. If this is the way it's going to be, I will just paying a little extra and get it from somewhere where the customers mean more than this!!!!
It depends on if you're planning on using 3S or 4S pack. On 3S you could run the 11x4.7 but on 4S you are going to draw more amps than the motor can draw safely. On 1000kv I would stick with the 10x4.5. If you drop to 750kv on 3S, then the 11x4.7 is good.
In that case your multi will come out weighing about 1.5kg once you add 4 NTMs, 4 ESCs, battery, props, rx, flight controller and associated wiring. So with 10x4.5 props on 3S you will draw roughly 140w to hover, roughly 14 amps, realistic flight time of 9-15 minutes depending on what you do with the throttle! Rough estimates only. It's a good setup, go for it :) I run the 4000mah 3S with 700kv and 11x4.7 on the X666 (bigger than HAL)frame and I get similar efficiency/flight time.
Aah, yes, forgot to look at OP. Oddly enough, even adding 100-150g for each additional arm/motor/esc taking your weight up to about 1700g, because each prop then has less to lift and can operate at a more efficient rpm, it actually doesn't take hardly any more power then the 4 motor setup. Probaby only another 3 or 4 amps. Be wary of the max draw though. If you give it a lot of throttle or a heavy payload the potential draw on the battery is pretty big. I use a 20c 3S 4000mah on my quad weighing about 1200-1600 depending on what I'm doing and if I fang it around that battery gets warm. Perhaps go a higher C rating for the hex 25C or 30C. It will have crazy power, you'll love it. My quad with DT750, 11x4.7 on 3S is already ridiculous, your hex will be mental.
Yes these are the left hand props. The right hand props are PRODUCT ID: 9329000033. You can tell as the product description for the others have an R in them for Right.
What is the material used for these props? Is it just plastic, or is it some sort of composite material? The other props say "composite material", but these do not mention a material.
Great props for quad, tri, hexacopters dirt cheap but balancing needed only hope that HK will provide 11x6 or 11x7

I have to give these a bad rating. (I have them on my DJI Naza quad)
They need some balancing, but that is not the problem. They are tracking extremely bad. At lift of, the blade on one of my props rotated about 1.5cm above the other one. And pretty mutch all the propps are having the same problem, but not as much. I did some recording with my GoPro in a gimbal under the quad, impossible to use...
And the shafts and propp adapters have been checked. It's the propps!
