Turnigy batteries are known the world over for performance and price, so it’s no surprise to us that they're the go to pack for those in the know.
Turnigy Hardcase batteries stand up to the stress and shock associated with the punishing extremes of on or off road racing. No matter the type of driving you prefer, Turnigy hardcase packs are an ideal choice.
Turnigy Hardcase Lipoly packs utilise IR matched cells, deliver the rated capacity and perform when you punch the throttle. You simply won’t find a better value hardcase pack anywhere!
depends on how you use it
if you always push it hard, charge it more than suggested rate , not store it in a storage voltage ETC
it probably works for ~50cycles
I have one used around 80cycles , still doing well.
I have one that has done about 40-50 cycles and is fine. I had a lemon that had a cell failure mid flight that caused a filming multirotor to crash however. It had only been through about 15 cycles. I would just check cell voltages before flying.
This is the best bang for your buck lipo I have ever bought. Very satisfied with the performance. Please see video. Will definitely buy a few more in the future. Cant go wrong with these batteries. Only downside is it wont Let me charge them faster than 3 Amps. It might just be my charger. Either way I cant complain with the value of these batteries.
To charge these at 1C you need an 84 watt charger. If your charger is in the 50 - 60 watt range then you would only be able to charge this at around 3 amps. And an 80 watt charger could charge this at 5 amps for most of the charging cycle but towards the end the charging current would drop a little to stay within the 80 watt rating. A 100 watt or above charger could do the full 5 amps for the entire charging cycle. You would need a 200w or higher charger to charge at 2C and a 500w charger to charge at 5C. So even if your charger SAYS it can do 10A or 20A charging or higher, it may actually be charging at a much lower rate to stay within it's wattage rating.
Haha, yeah I know, i run them on my 1000w hub motor. a couple hundred cycles and still doing fine.
1 thumbs up!
I bought 4 of this for my large tricopter, I know that the hard case add a little weight but where are you going to find 4S 5000mAh batteries for $22.37 this is even cheaper than a 3S battery of the same size, until know they are working perfectly, really happy with price and I'm amazed how long they lasted in stock

I purchased this battery for my Traxxas Slash 4x4 with the Mamba Max Pro setup. I run a 18/54 setup and this battery makes it scream down the road. It's an excellent battery to use especially for bashing since its a hard case. For the price, you really can't go wrong.

I have bought several of these and all balanced perfectly and had tons of power. I have never gotten a bad pack. I have been using them in 1/8 buggy/truggy electric conversions with great luck.
5 stars for sure on price, power, and reliability.
