Hello. I speak Spanish. Excuse my English but I am translating with Google. I diverted in excess knobs regulating FY-901 Pitch, Roll yYow. How do I get back to 0 the regulation.
Hi, this camera can be used as a PC webcam. And for this you need drivers.
See the manual for more information about the webcam function and you will see that you will have to install software/drivers. But the software/drivers are not in the package nor on the files tab.
It is posible to remove the battery, then install like a cable to plug to a KK2.0 Board. For flying and to reproduce it, just pluggin it with a BEC5.5.2v-Lipo.
haha you dont, but it has enough to last atleast 30mins-1hr and just everytime you go to watch your videos on your computer/tv, just leave it plugged in for a while and you should be fine :)
Sure does. Just make sure you try to mount it somewhere where it's relatively well shielded from the wind, or you'll end up with a lot of wind noise.I cut a small section into my wing and put a piece of extreme packing tape over it to protect it a little from being buffeted by the wind going over the wing.
How can I turn off the date/time stamp with a file on the SD card? I don't have a tv (really) or anything to plug it in to see live video... can it be turned off via a file?
Thanks
Hi everybody,I just started using the camera on my scrachbuilt flyer and got some interference on video.Had anybody the same problem and how it could be possible to sort out it...Thanks
Can you post a short sample of the interference on youtube so we can see what kind of interference you are getting? (make sure you post the video using the youtube button above submit and use the 'short' video link)
Easy enough, the 'interference' is actually video tearing due to vibration. Your camera is not defective. You'll notice the intensity of the tearing decreases when you pitch down (low throttle). Check prop balancing or bent shaft. You motor should run smooth with very little vibration when you try it on the ground. If that does not work, try to secure your camera more tightly and possibly pad with vibration absorbing material. I've relinked your video below for everyone to see.
You can remove the time stamp by plugging your camera into a video monitor and follow the prompts on the menu screen... very easily done if you follow the very intuitive prompts. Regards Paul

Just stick it on your model or anywhere else, turn it on and start recording. When you land, you can end the recording and save the video to your computer! Incredible!
Hi Steeve, thanks for feedback. I initially did like the date/time stamp on, but lately I am not so keen on it, especially given the size, position, opacity and colour cannot be adjusted. I think I will go with Date/Time stamp off for a while. Comments re pic of model taken on board also!
Cheers,
Mick.
And today I flew again with video and after getting home and looking at the video I realised I forgot to turn off the Date/Time Stamp (DTS). Tomorrow it will be off LOL.
I turned my date/time off as soon as I figured out how because the datestamp on the computer file itself was enough for me. I flew a couple times afterwards and smashed the camera into the pavement during a crash :-) The rear end of the camera pretty much flew through the front lens, it did not survive. ohhhh... the noise that made.... lol
Wow sounds like a big impact for the little camera, I think we have all heard "that noise" and it's always big for some reason :) (did you get the crash/impact on video?) I have turned off the DTS, but today it's blowing outside at 41kmh so flight will have to wait :(
Because the video recording got interrupted in the middle of the recording, I was unable to recover the file being recorded. I had no problem getting the previous 3 flights on the same card. If you want to save your camera from impacts, secure it very well to the model. Nothing worse than have it depart the model and hit the ground.
My rubbish camera wouldn't turn off one day despite trying the tiny reset button so I had to cut the red wire from the battery as the whole unit was getting very hot to touch. It's been intermittent since new working only when it wanted to!
Like most things from HK you get what you pay for!!! grrrrr
Markus if you read my above post you will see I did that (yr so called emerg stop button) which did nothing. I've removed the LiPo & the rest of the rubbish has gone to God!grrrrrr
My camera seems to work OK ... except that the sound and video are several seconds out of sync.
Have any of you chaps experienced this problem? ... perhaps you know of a fix?
Thanks for the reply, Markus ... but I am using a class 10 card, so it should be OK.
It's been suggested that I may have the wrong frequency selected. I have it on 60 Hz and am in Europe. I shall try it on 50 Hz and see whether that sorts out the problem.
I also have a class 10 card and noticed that problem after a hard landing (with a quadrocopter) for the rest of the video. Until know i don´*t thougt of the frequency but maybe that´*s the right way to solve the problem. So thanks for the idea and please let me know your results *)
I did some more recording, with the "frequency" selected to 50 Hz ... seems to have cured the synchronisation problem. My SD card is a new one, btw, and the camera has not been handled roughly. It isn't in a plane, but is fastened to my bike' helmet. All-in-all, a good-value item.
Interesting how I posted some comments about this item recently & the post seems to have vanished. Obviously HK have a problem with people telling the truth! Rubbish product this camera, avoid at all costs!
Some of my very positive comments have vanished as well. I suspect a problem with the forum. I don't think they systematically remove negative comments. I know bad language tends to be replaced by ****. Personally I have had very good results with this camera so maybe you just got a bad one.
Hello, during the western union manual transfer should i convert the us dollar to the currency of the country that im gonna send on? im purchasing some items and its price is about 230$. the hobby king outlet is on hongkong, should i convert that us dollar to hongkong doller during transfer to western union or just us dollar,,,thank you,
You should ask HobbyKing for that( LiveSupport or asking their email, I think I'm not allowed to post here ).
It's not a product question, so it doesn't belong to here. I wouldn't use Western Union, maybe you should take PayPal als payment method if possible.
As I understood it can record a picture every 10 seconds.
Here is the manual : www.link another camera but you have the same functions and the manual is under the Files-Tab.
Really good camera for the money.
Use it in a small Quadrocopter for FPV.
This cam records much better then a keychain cam plus you can use it as fpv-cam (with a little trick)!
For sure this cam can´t be compared to a GoPro but you get it for only $35 - I´m very happy with it.
For all who want to use this camera as FPV-cam while recording - read this!
Normally you won´t get any live view at the TV-OUT while recording but I found out a little trick how it does work:
- switch on the camera
- wait until it´s initialized (long vibration)
- set it motion detection video mode (press on/off button twice untile yellow and blue leds will be on)
- plug in your AV-plug
- wait for a short time until you will see the live view on your Display/TV
! The following steps must be done very fast, if you do this too slow, the camera will switch off !
- pull out your AV-plug
- set camera to video mode (press on/off button twice untile only blue led will be on)
- plug in your AV-plug again
This has to be done very fast, otherwise the camera will switch off!
Now you can push the record button to start recording while AV-Out gives live view signal for your transmitter.

4 thumbs up!
This camera is awesome for the budget. Very easy to use after you got the buttons order.
1) Press the button far from the lens for 2 seconds to turn it on (blue led). In a few seconds the vibrating motor will confirm that the camera is ready to go.
2) Select the mode using the same button: Blue - record video Red - photo. Blue / Yellow - record video automatic with any camera move. Red / Yellow - the same, but for photos.
3) Press the middle button to start/stop recording or to take a photo.
4) To turn it off press the button far from the lens again for 2 seconds. If you forget the camera on it will turn off after 3 minutes.
The camera was design to record with the buttons up, so it´s better to use it on the top of the plane.
Well, after recording you could watch the movies (avi) on your TV or computer. The computer is the only way to erase and copy the videos and you just need to connect via USB. It works very well on a PC or MAC.
Using a TV
Connect the camera cable to any Video Input on your TV. The default setting is for NTSC video, so no problem. You could change this and many other settings using the "camera´s tv menu".
1) The button closer to the lens is a menu selector. Press it for 2 seconds and you bring the menu up. 2) Use this button and the middle one to select options. (DON´T CHANGE THE LANGUAGE UNLESS YOU LIVE
