A question to the experts. I want to upgrade my servos in my HK 600. For cyclic I used hk-15298 digital HV servos. Now they start to make problems after about 100 flights. Somtimes they do not start moving when the stick is moed on the tx. That depends on a very special position. The slidest force to the servo arm, and they move correctly. Because of that, they did not make problems during flights so far, but I dont want to move on knowing something is not ok. Now I found a servo that is not explicid recommended for helis but I liked the data and of course the fact, that they are brushless, digital and HV. The product ID is 922000036-0 . Does it make sense to use this servo for a flybar 600 heli? Or is there something that exclude this servo from beeing usefull. Price and technical data seem to be very interesting to use it, for both flybar and fbl. Any recommendations or answers or suggestions? Thaks in advance for your help in this matter.
Hi, Hardly an expert but ,... I cant see why those track-star servos wouldn't work. They are certainly fast enough for flybarless. As for the problems with your current servos.... That sounds strange. First thing that comes to mind is the bearings/bushes have worn out. How smooth is the linkage and swash. You should feel hardly any resistance moving the servo linkage with the servo arms off (ignoring everything above the swash). Also how are the servo arms setup? The bell crank arms should be vertically inline with the center of the servo fulcrum point and also each run off servo arm at 90 degrees to the bell crack at neutral. If they are to far off where they should be on either of these, stress in put on the servos... wearing them out, possibly causing that problem. Hope this helps (at least gives you some ideas).
Pessoal, vou colocar uma LiPo 2S 7,4v de 1700mha para alimentar 4 servos digitais e o gyro, preciso comprar um regulador de voltagem, meu receptor (6008HS) aceita no maximo 6v, quantos amperes seria o minimo para esta configuracao? Um de 5A seria pouco? obrigado.
i received the kit today. impressive! but there are some little failures:
- pins at the head are too short - the two rods of the flybar cage broke at screwing BOTH! - one ball was glued with loctite to the mixing arm, there was no thread! unfortunately, the hole has 3,1mm too big to make a new thread... - the hole in the tailboom
the great advantage to 600ESP is, that you can throw the push-pull out!
the canopy is really ugly *sorry*
i had no problems with the tail, the head is smooth too.
BTW: where are spare parts?

I have just received my HK600GT. It is not one of the first fabrics, but it is the actual version. I can tell you quality is OK and pinpoint are exactly 23 mm on mine. All seems very high quality and I'm very satisfied of the improvements wich were made on the kit. Sorry if I won't be able to give you "builder's review" or "flying test" before a few months because I have other private projects on the way, but I can tell you my HK600GT will be
Very nice kit for the money. The head pins came at 23mm on mine. So it looks like they are fixing some stuff. it has alot of bling and carbon fiber

I received my HK 600 apx. 3 weeks ago. There seems to be different quality levels, because against all already given negative statements, my heli is nearly perfect. Equipped with a Align BL 650L with a 100A Roxxy ESC and Flightmax 6s 5000mAh the heli flies stable, powerful and without any problem. The rotorhead is o. k, all parts fit well and without any additional fitting work. Only the ball bearings of the tailrotorshaft had to be replaced.
Finally got the kit, overall looks good, as others have said, a bit rough, well packed, nothing seems to be missing. Not happy about the head pin issue, HK needs to fix this, and a couple bucks in store credit would be nice for those of us who have to make this repair. Will post flight test and setup after build.
