Carbon Fiber Landing Skid Set for T-Rex 550/600/700 Helicopter

Carbon Fiber Landing Skid Set for T-Rex 550/600/700 Helicopter

Carbon Fiber Landing Skid Set for T-Rex 550/600/700 Helicopter

Give your heli some more rigidity and "bling" with this bolt on upgrade. This carbon fiber landing skid set offers much more rigidity over the stock plastic skids, and also gives your heli a great custom look. The mounting blocks and skid pipe mounts are alloy, further adding to the quality look and feel. These will utilize the stock skid pipes.

Are these the same size as the 500 skids? Do they have fixing holes in the centres, if not can they be drilled? Thanks in anticipation.
AlvaroSpain1971  223 points - 1/5/2013

Another question: Can anybody measure the distance between the holes in order to fix it to a TT X-50?
AlvaroSpain1971  223 points - 1/5/2013

Hi!! how much is the diemter of the holes for the pipes?

Could you let me know the sizes??? Anybody can help? I´*d like to compare with my stock landing gear from my trex700E before buy one. Thanks.
 preman 44 points
my friend use this item in trex 700e
 dave 3 points
there are very close in size. I have them on my 700. they will fit down to a 550 but they look a little disproportionate on a 550
 APEXi 1 points
they dont look disproportionate on a 550. They have absolutely the same size then the original align landing skids!

still nobody could tell how to mount the canopy clip on it... How does it work ?!?
 Lunohod 8 points
It fit's trex 700 very well
 Christian 10 points
maybe u can post a pic. i cannot imagine how the clip fits on that. Especially 550 &600. Thanks
 dave 3 points
they are too thick for a canopy clip. You could dremel the front carbon plate down enough to allow it to fit but then youre weakening it also

Has anyone tried fitting this to a Raptor 50?

This is good bling for my hk600 I must have them, I mainly take off and land on grass so the stiffness shouldnt be a problem :)
 tonny 38 points
yes,very good,i have a in my hk 600
softimagge  303 points - 9/27/2011

I think it's better a plastic or flexible landskid. In case of a hard landing does not transmits all the blow to the chassis.

I agree.

Got these today and the quality is nice, fitted without a hitch all the hole positions were spot on. They are very stiff so if you are the type to have a lot of heavy landings maybe you should fit extra thick rubber on the skids or take off and land on grass.
The bling factor is awesome they really compliment all the other metal and carbon upgrades Hobbyking do for the HK600, as for the body mine still fits no problem which of course it should the new struts are in exactly the same place as the old ones.

the only remaining plastic on my helicopter now are the servo horns and main gear, very happy here.

Quality is very good, I expected rough/sharp edges but was pleasently surprised, performance is great wouldn't want to land too hard though as they wouldnt give much if at all.
love the look of them!
