hi guys. what battery with the highest mah can fit in this plane? its because i dont want to always land and change the battery. i just want longer flight times...
due to limited battery you wont be able to insert a battery with higher mah. Even if you found a battery with higher mah which can be inserted, then make sure to add some weight to tail to correct the cg.
Just read a review that claims that this requires a nine eagles transmitter...the description says that it includes transmitter mode1 and mode2. Can someone that has received this please clarify? Thanks in advance
Disculpa se me dañ*o la el servo del elevador por un golpe quisiera saber si venden la targeta por separado? y cua nto cuesta quiero reparar mi avion y solo quiero cambiar la targeta.
Will the Turnigy nano-tech 180mah 2S 25~40C Lipo Pack work with it. Here is the link to it:

hello ! i need to change the motor because the shaft becames unbalanced due a heavy nose landing. i already have the new spare motor but i cant take the old one off. somebody could tell me how to change the motors ? i already remove the micro srews but the motor look like stucked . by the way, there are some brushless motor that can be used with this plane with original eletronic ?thx, regards Julio

This is a very versatile Transmitter. You can change it from mode 1 to mode 2 (and vice versa) by removing two screws on the rear, and turning the antenna upside down. It's no more difficult than that - there is no additional programming or anything. I know this firsthand because I have this same plane.
in ebay you type "NE4771003 Motor for Nine Eagles 771B XTRA 300 " and search you will find. another search is "Original Nine Eagles 770B Sky Eagle NE4902004 Motor". there are 2 sellers
Hi, I received my plane and I could not bind with my TX. I tried it with a TX J6Pro and with a TX of Solo Pro II and with a TX of Solo Pro 328. When I put the battery, a green LED lights and no sound. What do I do?
Hi guys, I am torn between this plane and the Xtra-300 by nine eagles (same company). I would buy both if it wasn't for the exorbent shipping. Please advise which you think would be a better park flyer, I live in New York and its always windy. Additionally, I think this does not have Aileron control, so I am leaning towards the xtra 300 which has aileron controls.
You can buy both at the same time and save a lot on shipping. These planes are small enough that they will actually ship up to 3 at a time. As for wind, the Xtra300 is pretty hairy in the wind unless you're a really good flier. This high wing cessna does amazingly well in the wind considering its weight. Make sure you get some extra batteries, nano-tech 2S 180 for this one and 300 for the 300 (make sure it's the JST discharge plug type).
You probably killed the battery if you left it in the plane over night. As the plane comes with a small 2S Lipo, Lipos are sensitive to draining, once can be enough to kill the battery.
this plane is very esay to control when there is no wind.when wind comes it becomes unstable.if you are a good flyer then 30m * 30m space would be more than enough.for a beginner 50m*50m space would be ok.you can hand launch this model

Why are prohibited from you ship in these country?
The cost of this product in Italy (where i live) is 100€ (136$)... I'm sad http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/images/em_c ry.gif
Bye
Because it is a product of nine eagles and hobbyking sells it under a different name. Hobbyking is only allowed 2 sell it in country's where nine ealges dont sell it. Hope i helped u
Tip. If u have family in country's where they can buy it.......... Just saying...
It comes with transmitter. You could bind the transmitter of the nine eagles Xtra300 to this plane by pushing the throttle stick down (like you do when switching dual rates) and then power on the transmitter. I tried to bind the nine eagles heli transmitter to this plane but nothing happened.
I dont think u need a better battery this one is just fine! U can fly about 10 mins in heavy wind!!
If you really want 2 buy a better battery go with a higher discharge for a faster plane!
Please HC staff check the price which is stay at $89.99 after "added to cart" even for a plat member.
It was happened to N.E. EXTRA as well and got corrected after some suggestion from a member (guess who?)
Thank you HC and all its good ole members.
What an appropriate name for someone who answers a question that they don't even understand. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.) The N60 motor is the one in the NE Xtra 300. It is slightly larger, but this Micro Cessna's ESC would probably be able to handle it. I hooked up a Silverlit Airlifter (85g 2channel toy plane) wing with two motors to this cessna's esc and it hits low voltage cut (built into esc to protect battery) at anything over 50 percent throttle with the 180 lipo. Put in a 2S 350mah and it did fine, flying around for several minutes, a couple times. Don't know long term, but my guess is, it will be fine, but you'll need a bigger battery.
HI ppl, anyone knows the wing area on this bird? at list the chord? The Prop size? In some videos it seems to be a litle windy and no problems in flying, is that true? Anyone makes an idea of stall speed in normal leveled flight (near 10kmh or higher)? Distance on runway for take off? Thanks
Prop length is 4.2in (107mm), pitch ?? (guess 3). Wing chord 77mm at center, about 50mm at edge. Doesn't really stall, but glides down quickly (see my video here, at 4:10, I cut throttle and glide for about 10 seconds). Flew it several times in 4m/s (9mph) winds last Sunday and it handles it amazingly well if you fly high enough and your reactions are quick enough. You have to use more throttle to keep up speed to fight the wind, so I don't recommend it in over 30 degrees C temperatures like I did. The foam was noticeably warm around the motor when I picked it up. With this such small size wheels, take-offs depend on the resistance of the runway. Very smooth surface should be very short. I was surprised how long it took, however, off a baseball field with tiny gravel. Hand launch is just a very gentle toss (see video).
As the description states, it's a N50 motor, a common brushed motor. Just replacing the motor with another of the same should be fine, no need for a new esc (which would be impossible anyway since it's all on one board with the Rx and servos too).
I there ppl, i did not try it, but i think you can make a prety good upgrade to brushless motor with Hobbyking item : BruCon and a suitable micro esc and light brushless motor (was thinking HK 2grams brushless D1000-7700, but it's a ONLY 1S)it states 36grams thrust but this more than enough for a high wing trainer like this plane. Anyone try to use a 350mah 20C 1S on this baby? If it works (RX and Servos) with 1S then you can proceed with the sugested tunning: BruCon HK-XP3A 3A 0,7gr esc D1000-7700 2gr brushless motor 350mah 20C 1S. Have a good time.
I think the 2g motor would be too small. It's best for up to 40g planes. This is 65g. I would recommend the hextronik 5g, with same basic prop size and you could use the same stock battery.
I've tried this on 500mAh 15c Zippy.
Results:
- Need to squeeze it in, hence deform the plane slightly
- push is a bit back to maintain the CG
- Careful as u push back you don't disconnect the motor.
Fly well, however the weight might be a bit too much to handle for the wing.
I've then make modification on the wing:
- Carbon rod across... 3 piece. one each at both wing at 50% spend. another around 3cm rod at the center ... this arrangement is needed as the wing is dihedral.
- Use selefon tape (2.5cm) and tape the leading edge, bend it towards the lower surface. further tape the top surface till u cover at least 50% of the surface area. This is to improve the flow ...hence 'more' laminar flow. You will be surprise how much extra lift you will get by going so.

3 thumbs up!
Well worth the money. If it flys like my homemade micro cessna there will be no problem. I paid nearly $200 for my own and it is no where near this quality.

This little plane flies amazingly well. I work in a hobby shop and we fly this little plane regularly in our parking lot. it is full epp foam and nearly indestructible. also, the prop pops off when you hit it, so no damage is done to it. all in all, this plane is great fun, flys extremely well, and is nearly impossible to hurt.

I received the plane in great shape. Assembled and tested. All controls and motor work. Easy to fly. The charger for the Lipo pack has a 12v dc power input and 7.4vdc output. Only problem I have with this kit is the supplied charger wall adapter. It is a 12v, 600mah, dc centre positive wall charger that has a European style plug. Plug does not fit North American receptacles. I used a 12v, 500mah dc centre positive wall plug I had laying around.
