Why does this weigh 75g? 3 * 8g is less than half this?

Anyone know of replacement gears that will work with this servo?

hi power speed

I think you can use HXT900's ones, but I'm not sure... this servo seems to be the same as Esky 9g, so I would say that you can use esky gears.

Does anyone know if they require 6V's as listed or can they range from 3v-6v?

Thanks
   ragallo (75%)
4.8 volts will work fine
   Mark (0%)
I think 3-6V
   othmar (0%)
Hi, the servo works perfectly with 4.8 V. As I know, speed and torque will be a little decreased.

could someone "kinda confirm" that this is better than hxt900? (and cheaper)
   James (78%)
Just put mine in a 250 GT and they are smooth and fast, center well and weigh in under 7grams. They are better than the hxt 900 which I have had in my flasher 450 for about 80 flights. They appear to have better resolution. Fantastic servo will be buying these from know on. And they are dirt cheap. You have to love HC........The hxt900 are good but these are better!
   mariube (13%)
They have better resolution than the hxt900. However they have a smaller output spline and the mounting tabs are much thinner and quite brittle, so it's maybe not so robust.
   Elli (17%)
Those servos are comparable to the HXT500. 0.2 gram heavier than the HXT500, and 4 gram lighter than the HXT900. They have much more power and streps than the HXT500. However, they are not nearly as strong as the HXT900, which is expected since they are in lower weight class. You cannot use those in applications that require the HXT900, they do not have the same power.

One of the reviewers says this is a clone of the Esky 8g digital servo (EK2-0508).

Can anyone confirm that these are digital?
