You haveto crimp it. If you solder, the wire will broke.

they should, but its pushing it abit, why not use hx60's? if you using something pulling 30 amps i presume its heavy therefore the xt60's will work better

It depends on your voltage. At 12V, you're sure to cook it. At 1.5V, you /might/ get away with it. These are the small connectors normally used with receiver batteries/switches.

Use crimping tool to crimp the wire to tinted copper. If not, you can use pliers to crimp it then solder it.

I use it for up to 6A. Most people recommend 3-5A, though some are pushing them to 8A. You should definitely not exceed 8A as they have a considerable voltage drop then -> heats up!

hooby-lobby has them listed as 10amp max. best to check temp of connector after use.
