The new number one in performance and price! The new Turnigy Lipoly packs deliver full capacity at the said C rate. You wont find a better deal in Lithium Polymer batteries anywhere!
It might surprise you but I figure this pack would be better than the nano-tech. I have both. This pack is heavier and fatter but it maintains a good even strong discharge. Watch out for imbalance. If you can't correct it, let CS know. I recd two and one was disappointing. If you get a good one, you'll be pleased.
I purchased two in two separate orders. Both have demonstrated uneven performance across cells. The cells always perform differently, leading to imbalance and pack management problems. Might have been bad batch but I reckon these are not worth asking price of $8.00. Would buy for $4.00.

I forgot to list chargers, Accucell-6 is a low budget charger that work ok up to 3s batteries. The Eco Eight balance charger is also a good charger with 10 setting memory that will charge at 7 amps max. How much do you want to spend?

A note of warning about this particular pack. After only three flights, my most recent lipo pack of this type will not maintain balance through all cells. I have purchased ten Turnigy packs - all the others have been good. This one was missing the white plastic end protectors usually under the heatshrink. If this is the latest way they are putting the packs out it raises questions about reliability. Too late for me to query. I advise all buyers to return product immediately without using if it does not appear as per photo. I believe my pack probably slipped through the usually reliable quality control. So bad luck for me. CS has offered to take it back but a used lipo is too expensive to return. Getting a good pack depends on a bit of luck.
Dear sir, I see where you got a bad battery one time. But I also see where you have gone through the effort to make many entries about this one bad battery on this post. We all get bad products from time to time. If the postage to send the battery back to the US warehouse is more than the battery then maybe we should consider how cheap the battery is. I tried to find the place now where HK explains they take returns to the US warehouse but not able to locate it.
Thanks for the suggestion, Sking369, yes I tried to deal with CS and complied with all the requirements for photos etc. No help in the end and I was left feeling very disappointed. It is only this size Turnigy pack that I have had problems with. My other sizes have been fine. The first one of this size had missing wrapping and came with no packing as would be usual in my compbined order. I was sent a bad one from the outset and QC was certainly ineffective or non-existent. Anyway, I've moved on. Older and wiser and more careful about where I place my trust. A big shame because HK has some good products at attractive prices where it is worth paying in advance and waiting PROVIDED there are REAL CUSTOMER GUARANTEES of product support. HK is not a company that wilfully tries to rip off customers, I know that, but I was ripped off, anyway, with no comeback! They need to tighten up their staff control, their systems and their follow up. Thanks again for the kind thought. Cheers.

Yes. If you do not have the aircraft overpowered, this will be very good. Locally, we do quite well with the 20C versions so your 30C should push the aircraft along when you need.

Why cant HC put a link to when you buy a plane you can click onto the battery they suggest & it will take you to the correct battery for the plane, so you do not have to change the connectors

pack weight and dimensions vary - especially if you get the rare one with thinner leads or missing end covers under the heatshrink. Mostly, though, you can expect them to be close to that specified.
One li-po has come with a dead element, pressure of 0 volt, it was necessary to disassemble on elements as to send more expensively than to buy the new
I just got mine. Sorry, no connectors for ESC. Nothing else in box. Really, EC3 style connectors are superior after many connect/disconnect cycles. They're all I use.
Heavens, no, mate. No bullet connectors. A bit dangerous for lipos in this day and age. They are fitted with XT60 connectors that are rated for more than 55 amps continuous. They are fitted really well. The other plug is the standard JST balance fitting.
Very good battery. Maintains 11.13v with a 31A load. 2C charging is a plus.

Ordered 10 of these great little beasts! They are being used in everything from 40" foam profiles, gliders and delta wings. Powerful on the foamies with 480 size motor pulls out of hover at less than 1/2 throttle. Gliders get the power for near vertical climbs! And the delta wings are pushing the 100 mph barrier with the jet screamer motors. Trully a great battery at an unbeatable price!
