Does this plane flys fast like the micro shokys here or can I fly it very slow? I could`t find any video of this plane.
 GoOnzy 19 points
Hi, I had it some time ago and it can fly pretty fast but also slow enough to land it easily

How could this thing fly without the tail aileron?
 Tony_Flyer 54 points
Do you mean the rudder on the vertical stabilizer. The aileron refers to the control surfaces on the wings into which make it roll which it has that makes it able to turn.
 Kellyann 16241 points
heniochus9 I am not here to make fun. I know what you mean. It has elevator and ailerons ONLY. So you bank and then give up elevator to complete the turn. I hope this helps. this is how real plane bank too.

What size is the battery compartment?
 Nikers 192 points
there is not actually a batter compartment the battery goes int the plane. For the battery i would suggest a Turnigy nano-tech 160mah 1S 25~40C .

motor keeps giving a continuous 2 beep sound when connected to 1cell LiPo 138mAH. No action when throttle is pushed. Any idea what is wrong with it?
 hangout 1 points
Problem resolved when i connected a 2cell LiPo. Looks like the voltage is insufficient for 1C LiPo. It's hard to find a light weight 2C Lipo to fly this plane off.
 FrYakaTKoP 76 points
Yes you need a 1S esc i received a plush 6 esc with the my two kits. I fly 2S with a GWS 4025 and a 240mah 2S 25C pack (17g) flying weight ~55g unlimited vertical but be easy on throttle with full pack motor gets hot quick mine goes vertical with half throttle with a full pack
 Miroslav 8 points
Yes,only 2S LiPol battery is good, as
Rhino 360mAh 2S 7.4v 20C Lipoly Pack
is very good.

I really wish HK would put links to required things, like the RX, Lipo and servo's required for this plane. Difficult for noobs.
 AnandP 6 points
*AlastairM - very nice suggestion *HK - I guess this is a very nice suggestion to implement or at least you can give the Bundled option for it with all the required things. For the newbies it would be very helpful.
 ishady 340 points
Just some friendly suggestion thou: please look at the "RELATED PRODUCT" which was HK suggestion, and "CUSTOMER WHO BOUGHT THIS, ALSO BOUGHT" which could relate what others customers bought to complete the plane. We -really- could get some insight from them. Thanks. -ishady-

I like the plane but eather the motor or the speed controler does not work. How can I find out which on I need? The prop never did go around. Just jerked a little.
Larry
 flashflash46 31 points
Hey, I am answering my own post. One of the small wires to the motor was broken inside of its covering. Probably from trying to get them plugged in. Everything works now except the motor pulled out some and I crashed. I used some velcro to anchor the motor to the bulkhead.
 hangout 1 points
Hi, mine keeps giving a continuous 2 beep sound. And I also noticed a slight twitch of the prop each time. Did you encounter the same thing?
MATIES  63 points - 1/9/2010

I would like to know the hobby king battery code to make the order of it.

Has anyone had a problem with running the motor on two LiPo cells? (Besides that one guy in the reviews who said his motor only lasted 15 seconds)
Sloperdude  1317 points - 12/10/2009

Gary,

It's a 3 channel. Ailerons, elevator and motor. No rudder.
gary  22 points - 11/29/2009

so is the cessna 182 micro a 3 channel or 4 channel? I see no rudder control surface?
JackChen  218 points - 7/30/2009

You know, it will be useful if we can get a link to a suitable 2.5g servo needed to complete the plane.

It looks like the wings and tailplanes on these models are depron..?! In that case they arent half as indestructable as they would be with EPP..
 Ballemann 209 points
Err... The doubledecker is all EPP, it seems, and the Mustang only has depron wings..looks like it anyway..
ishady  340 points - 7/26/2009

I dont believe the dining table touch down is possible.
And the indoor flyer plausible is meaningfull if your indoor is furniture free.

Depends on how big your house is.
 ishady 340 points
Ok Boss.
Nice being responding from the Boss himself...he3

Indoor flying doesn't necessarily mean inside your house. Here in Minneapolis, the Metrodome stadium is sometimes open to indoor flying, as well as some other buildings during the winter. Indoor means that it flies slow, and it's reasonably light and small.

7 thumbs up!
Neat little indoor/outdoor airplane with a tiny outrunner motor, not a geared brushed motor like some other brands this size.

The description isn't quite right thoughwhile the fuselage is EPP, the wings and tail are Depron. So it isn't all that indestructible after all.

I hope it stands up to continued use, because it's someone's Christmas gift this year.

seul gros problme , le moteur a rendu l'me aprs 3vols !

Great little plane, flys nice, quiet easy for a beginner, but the motor they come with can be troublesome, I had two faulty motors straight from the box, replaced them with these, 1404N 2290Kv 9.2g 3.5A 160g Thrust Outrunner, flys great and heaps of power, they are a bit heavier then the supplied motor but it didnt seem to bother it one bit.
