If you hold button you can set low voltage limit (2V - 4V). Below this limit beep sounds. Mine also also beeps with charged batteries if any cell has voltage higher than 4.2V (It took a time for me realize that! :oD) Pretty nice.

Is this the same type of battery monitor as a novak smart stop and would this product work on my 2s zippy lipos in my 08 e-maxx . And will it be loud enough to hear when im driving my truck.

I bought 2 of the BM-6 Monitors. They are accurate and work as advertised. Pin spacing is 2.54 mm suit JST-XH.

the smart stop system cancels the speedo signal to stop the truck preventing the battery from damage.
