 GONZALEZ 1 points
Yeah I'm disappointed too... I didn't know how to turn the endbell to get more timing... I did loose the screws, but nothing turn...

What is the difference of mach2 with the trackstar 13.5? Which model is the latest model?
FlymP  13 points - 2/18/2013

WHy does the title say "MACH 2" and the photo shows "MACH 4" ?
 GONZALEZ 1 points
I think that the titre is not up to date, because it arrives with "Mach4" sticker.
FlymP  13 points - 2/18/2013

Does anyone know what the different beeps on powerup mean ?
Joshua  2 points - 1/2/2013

I just got this motor (13.5t) put a 4000mah 3s lipo and the magnet separated from the shaft. The glue wasn't able to handle a 3s battery. Had it running on a 2s no probs. fortunately I managed to reglue the magnet back.
 RBOLETTO 84 points
Hey Joshua, What is this (13.5t) that you saying? I have no Idea What this "T" means. Regards!
 Joshua 2 points
T means turns. Google it. Basically higher turns = more torque but lower RPM. Lower turns = more RPM but lower torque.
 RBOLETTO 84 points
Thanks brow!

Can I use it on I slash 4x4 with a Velioneo ESC (VXL-3s: it goes for 200A cont and 320A burst)? I live in Brazil and its always hot, do I need a cooler or heatsink, or it runs cool?
 TKG26 7 points
yes you can, although a 13.5t motor maybe a bit slow for a 4x4 slash, i would suggest a 9.5-7.5T motor. I fan is always a great idea

What is the max amps of this motor? Is it a good match for the turnigy trackstar 100a esc? Is it a 540 Size motor?
 euromen 29 points
Yes it is 540 motor and 100A ESC has great reserve. Max AMP is cca 28 for 2S battery
CHRISTOPHER  2 points - 12/28/2011

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the timing on this motor?
 TyphoonFR 33 points
This is a setting in your esc
 TKG26 7 points
loosen the 3 set screws on the endbell where the sensor is, rotate ring in small increments to increase timing. about 1mm per degree.
 GONZALEZ 1 points
How do you do this? It won't turn!
 TyphoonFR 33 points
You are correct. This motor has a fix endbell. You cannot turn it. As I said all that you can do is change the setting in your esc
 GONZALEZ 1 points
Merci mon Olive ! Tu en as acheté* 1?
 TyphoonFR 33 points

Will this run on one cell for the maradve 1 Cell Class Chris
 Shiftking 16 points
usually something with this high of a turn rating you would want to have more that two cells. Something with a lower turn rating like a five of four and a half would be much more suitable for a single cell application

who many AMPS is necessary to operate??
 swabdairy 11 points
at least a 30-45 amp esc

Hello, has anyone tried to use this BL in sensorless mode?
Grandu  1 points - 5/3/2011

Hi there! I bought a this motor time ago and still not working :S i need help. I have conected to a hobbyking esc 100A with a turnigy life pack 4500 2 cell. When i conect everything the motor make a tone, i don know how to describe it but it makes 10 tones in 7-8 sec aprox. When i recieved de Futaba T3PM i conected it to the reciever in case it was for the set up or smthing but still the same. also when i conected the ESC to de reciever the reciever led doesn turn on green light :S do i need a 5-6v battery for the reciever???? i thought that with life pack it wasn necessary... if the whole system is not matching i would like to know... if the esc is not good, i'd like to get the k-force
 GONZALEZ 1 points
Not necessary a problem... Did you bind / paired the system ? Read Esc manual for more informations...

Does it work with momba pro
 swabdairy 11 points
It will work with the mamba pro as long as you use the mamba pro in the sensored mode. You will also need the sensor cable that comes with the motor
gtok34  8 points - 1/23/2011

does this motor work with a traxxas slash 2wd? (Like as Velineon system)??? and what esc is compartible?
 Michael 45 points
your esc is sensorless. so you would need a new one for this motor
 swabdairy 11 points
the traxxas velineon system is a sensorless system a good esc for this motor would be say like lrp spx, sxx, or a any novak esc and the mamba max pro.
 mdkwarhawk 80 points
this motor will work fine unsensored i sell at my local track many guys using unsensored with no problems
 mdkwarhawk 80 points
also many guys using sidwinder and traxass velineon esc with these motors
 Cainam 18 points
Several people said that the VXL ESC is sensorless. It CAN be used that way, but it does have a sensor port. Sensorless brushless, sensored brushless, or brushed. This motor will work fine on a VXL ESC, with or without the sensor wire plugged in.
 eric 6 points
velineon is sensored esc, uncommon knowledge to most, but true.
 Dereck 3 points
A velineon esc does have a sensor port on it as long as it is a newer esc.
DALE  7 points - 12/7/2010

does this come with sensor cable
 vinnyrr 8 points

 Carl 5 points
So did mine. Good length to.

1 thumbs up!
for the people with sensor problems....try repinning the sensor wires to fix this. there's not really an "industry standard" for sensor wires...so occasionally you have to play around with them.

brought this motor for touring car racing, but its under powered compared to high quality motor's,
description says timing adjustable, but this is not possible by turning the end bell,
5 stars for the price, 1 star for timing issue power output,
