Do you work with Corona ZDJ-2400 2.4GHz Module ?

Can I use this RX with NiMh 5 cel or LiFe 6.6 Volt?
Thankyou
 Gary 3059 points
A 5cell nimh will be fine,it states 4.8v to 6v so would not personally use a 6.6v life without some sort of BEC system to drop the voltage.

 cardinal 19 points
I'm using 6.6 volt Li-on/Li-fe with the same rx but 8 channel, without apparent problems. I'm using corona digital metal gear servo standard and XTR analogic servo standard 4.8/6 volt without apparent problems too. I hope don't have any evil surprise !!!
 Gary 3059 points
Yes,think there is a built safety margin with some of these units,so if it works fine, but it is at your own risk, and of course it will not be covered under warranty, bet the servo's are nice and fast though!!!
 cardinal 19 points
Yes, of course!!!

Hi, Will it work with CT8Z-DIY TX module?
 zseta 4 points
Yes. It works with it.
nexundai  25 points - 5/11/2012

Will it work with a hk TR6a ? If not what receiver will ?
 snake33 31 points
Only with a transmitter/module that uses V2 DSSS. Corona sell 2.4ghz DIY kits to convert FM radios to their DSSS setup.
 CTA MEMBER 28 points
No it won´t
 NewToHobbyKing 7072 points
Nexundai the HK TR6a???? I am finding it hard to find. I can find (SKU: HK-T6A-M2) and (SKU: HK-T6A) but cannot find HK TR6a. Can you please supply a name that I can put in the SEARCH BOX above. So I may find it and help you!

I have seen somewhere that someone recommended that these receivers will be compatible with a HK-7X tx. Is this true?
 Benny! 266 points
Hi Des, I got this receiver to bind with my 7X but shortly after launch lost all contact with F4 at about 100kms per hour!! You can guess the rest. So to answer your question, yes they are compatible but with my 7X it wasn't a great success. Cheers
 __Des 12 points
Hi, Thanks for the reply. So in lieu of the fact that these are not the perfect match with HK-7X tx's, which rx would be the best suited at this stage?

 Benny! 266 points
I haven't found another for the 7X and have had a few prangs due to faulty reception so I went back to my old radio... Sorry I can't help you any further except to say I don't trust the 7X with my planes any more. If you find a good solution let me know! Cheers
cale  56 points - 1/19/2012

will this bind to a futaba T6EX??
 Benny! 266 points
The Futaba operates on the FHSS system and I'm fairly sure this isn't compatible with the DSSS system that this receiver works on. They are cheap though so maybe try it out if your super keen on it.. not much to lose! Cheers
 zseta 4 points
It only works with Corona TX modules. If it is in your T6EX (i think not), it will work. Otherwise dont.
 Conrad 7 points
unfortunately all Corona 2.4g rx's only work with corona radio gear and conversion kits.
 Mike Vos 20 points
The straight answer is NO!

dose any one know if it will work with a devo 8 transmitter that is also DSSS?
 Benny! 266 points
Hi..If your transmitter works DSSS then I would say definately yes!! It doesn't matter about the brand as long as the language it speaks is the same...if you get my drift!!Cheers

oh yer and what is the tool with.... is it just to push the button behind...oh and do you need a binding attachment
 Benny! 266 points
Hi..The tool is to push the bind button on the receiver as you thought and if you need a bind connection it will come with it,although I think mine didn't need one. Cheers

 Conrad 7 points
No bind plug needed with these, just press the rx button while holding the bind buton on the TX module and you should be fine

hi,, i need help... i just bought this to use with my guin li catalina and my hitec optic 6 (oh by the way i am a amatuer) i had bought it and realised that i need a module.... i dont want to do another thing wrong so do i just buy a module or is there something else i need.....thanks for the help.... please respond asap i need to buy it asap
 Benny! 266 points
Hi..if your Optic 6 is running on 36mhz then just buy a Corona 36mhz synthesised receiver.I have a few and they work beautifully for a very cheap price. Just make sure the receiver you get has enough channels to use as there are many sizes to choose from.Cheers..hope this helps.

does this work with FUTABA TM-7 Module which i have installed in my FUTABA T9CAP???
 Benny! 266 points
The Futaba operates on the FASST system and this receiver runs DSSS.I'm no expert but I don't think these two will "talk" to each other properly.Perhaps someone else can chip in to add to my thoughts?? Cheers
 zseta 4 points
It only works with Corona DSSS TX modules.
 Conrad 7 points
*Benny!- exactly right, the Transmitters both speak different languages so they can't communicate.

I would like to order one to but for my 2,4Ghz 3 channel (DSSS Modulation) Graupner X-3S (ISM-Band 2,4.... 2,4835Gh). Does anybody know if this Corona receiver wil/could work with my Graupner ? if no is there another receiver perhaps that will work? Best Regards, Bjorn.
 Jochen 5 points
no, that corona reciever only works with the corona module tx. for graupner i think, there is no reciever til now

Hello i have the corona diy mod and it is working with the cr8ds. I just purchased 2 of the cr6ds and i cant get either of them to bind. I need help i follow the directions to a T I start the TX with the button held and the light flashes red and green. I have tried 3 batteries and a lipo attached to an esc and i cant seem to get the rx to power on or flash any lights. any help or ideas. J
 Shura 122 points
I had the same problem. Try to spread the transmitter and receiver for 2 or more meters when you bind them
 emilio 8 points
ligue primeiro o tx com o botão apertado por menos de tres segundos e depois ligue o rx com o botão do bind precionado ele pisca duas vezes e pronto desligue o tx e o rx e depois ligue o rx primeiro depois o tx ( Emilio sp )
 gftbak 12 points
Be shure to watch the polarity of your connector to the rx. (the connector that feeds the rx) Even when wrong polarized the led blinks. (but no binding ofcourse.

I have a Futaba 9CAP with a Futaba FASST module. It's 1,5 years old. Is it compatible. Thanks.
 fbandera 53 points
Unfortunately it IS NOT compatible. You need the Corona module, which you plug into the module port of your 9CAP to use this RX.

compre o modulo corona e troque pelo futaba que funciona e o preço e bem melhor (Emilio sp)

hello can anyone tell me how you bind the hk7x
 spsolway 14 points
If you mean the HK-7x V2 I would give up. I bought one of these to use with my HK-7x V2 and had no luck, later found out that these apparently only bind with the V1. Got my money back on ebay though!!

hello is their another rx that will bind with this hk7xv2 transmitter
 spsolway 14 points
I couldn't find one, so in the end I've bought the turning 9x which is same price for a better Tx & the Rx's are much cheaper

 bronya 219 points
No, you can't. Only with Corona TX module.
 roslan_hakiem 55 points

 Felix (Spain) 14 points
What you can do with this receiver is launch it to the garbage before it do that with your airplanes!!

Hi, is any one using one of these with the hk-7x V2 that is currently being sold? thanks

can i use this Corona 2.4Ghz 6ch Receiver (V2 DSSS) with my Futaba 6EX FASST, thank you
 __Waco 304 points
Yes, but only when you will your Tx fit with Corona TX module CT8F or DIY module CT8Z. Generaly this Rx cant work directly through different modulation.
 ujvicsek 12 points
Hi. Futaba transmitter is not compatible with Futaba kompatibilis.Futabhoz the OrangeRX Here you will find: www.link
 Mats 8 points
No you can't. DSSS V2 and FASST are not radiossystem that can work together.

I have a Futaba 7c.
Does the "Corona 2.4Ghz 6ch Receiver (V2 DSSS)" fits my Futaba 7C ?
 ilkayyy 39 points
It fixes nearly all 6 and 7 channels futaba transmitters. I have been using it with my 6EXP for a long time with no problem and my friend uses with his 7CAP
woodcarver  5 points - 10/26/2010

hi, having a problem linking this rx to either one of my futaba tx's. one is a t6ex and the other is t8uap w/2.4 tm module. anyone have a solution or do i have the wrong rx. thanks for the help.
 Mauri 53 points
Hi.Sorry for you, but the 2 radio systems are quite different and non-compatible. You only can use Futaba FASST modules with those TXs'.
 woodcarver 5 points
Thanks for the fast reply. Do you have any other suggestions for a rx.

how can i binf this to the hx- 7x v2 ?
bastelspezi  232 points - 6/28/2010

the 6 channel receiver to me seems to be a joke. it is the same board as the 8channel without 2 of the connectors, same size, almost exact the same weight and costs more than the 8channel.. WHY IS THAT ?
 smallbird 20 points
then dun buy the 6 channel, get the 8 channel, same weight, cheaper and extra 2 channels....... whats the fuss man......
 Typhoons 15 points
So what the point of this 6CH receiver then? Pricing error?
 bastelspezi 232 points
*smallbird: well why do you think i bought the 6channel.. maybe because i expected it to be smaller and lighter? of course i wount buy it again.
DooGZ  73 points - 3/19/2010

anyone tried binding this to HK-7X? does it work? this is $7.00 cheaper. ^_^
 Beldin_33 56 points
Yes i run this on my HK-7X. The binding process is on the instruction sheet that ships with the reciever. In brief and from memory hold the large button on on the back of the HK-7X and power on. Let go imediately or it with randomly pick another frequency. Power up the reciever while holding the button on the bottom in. power off the transmitter then the reciever. Power up the reciever then the transmitter and after about 25 seconds they should sync.
 DooGZ 73 points
thanks Beldin! will try that once I got myself this receiver.

I have had no problem whatsoever with my Corona 2.4Ghz 6 channel receiver (V2 DSSS) receiver or the Corona CT8F 2.4 Ghz V2 DSSS module I'm using in my Optic 6. I'm using the receiver on my scratch built Funder & Lightning. I've flown the plane more than 300 yards from the transmitter and am always in control.

Received two new 6 Chan receivers that I ordered. Installed them in two other planes and test flew them today and both performed beyond my expectations. Both were easy to bind with my existing Corona Futaba module and they both did not miss a beat in their operation.. I am going to order another transmitter module and 8 chan receiver.

I have used this reciever for some time now in airplane and performance is very good. No problem what so ever. Corona recievers will work equaly well with the new HK-6X 5 model memory transmitter.
This is really good value for money!

Compared to 8-ch receiver even better binding - but probably just because I know now how to do it!

During binding and connect keep a distance of 1m between transmitter and receiver - no problems and binding is done in 5s as well as the connect afterwards.

Weight of the receiver is 13g. No problems during flight within a 400m range.

LED on bottom (next to the push button) is very good to see through the casing.
Used with DIY kit and FC-16.
