Has anyone actially tried this unit ?
Please if anyone has tried it, let us know, because we are interesten in this product and me and a couple of friends would very much like to buy them, but i havent been able to find a review yet....?
Thank you......
I'm using 6.6 volt Li-on/Li-fe with the same rx but 8 channel, without apparent problems. I'm using corona digital metal gear servo standard and XTR analogic servo standard 4.8/6 volt without apparent problems too. I hope don't have any evil surprise !!!
Yes,think there is a built safety margin with some of these units,so if it works fine, but it is at your own risk, and of course it will not be covered under warranty, bet the servo's are nice and fast though!!!
Nexundai the HK TR6a???? I am finding it hard to find. I can find (SKU: HK-T6A-M2) and (SKU: HK-T6A) but cannot find HK TR6a. Can you please supply a name that I can put in the SEARCH BOX above. So I may find it and help you!
Hi Des,
I got this receiver to bind with my 7X but shortly after launch lost all contact with F4 at about 100kms per hour!! You can guess the rest. So to answer your question, yes they are compatible but with my 7X it wasn't a great success. Cheers
Hi, Thanks for the reply. So in lieu of the fact that these are not the perfect match with HK-7X tx's, which rx would be the best suited at this stage?
I haven't found another for the 7X and have had a few prangs due to faulty reception so I went back to my old radio... Sorry I can't help you any further except to say I don't trust the 7X with my planes any more. If you find a good solution let me know! Cheers
The Futaba operates on the FHSS system and I'm fairly sure this isn't compatible with the DSSS system that this receiver works on. They are cheap though so maybe try it out if your super keen on it.. not much to lose! Cheers
Hi..If your transmitter works DSSS then I would say definately yes!! It doesn't matter about the brand as long as the language it speaks is the same...if you get my drift!!Cheers
Hi..The tool is to push the bind button on the receiver as you thought and if you need a bind connection it will come with it,although I think mine didn't need one. Cheers
hi,,
i need help... i just bought this to use with my guin li catalina and my hitec optic 6 (oh by the way i am a amatuer) i had bought it and realised that i need a module....
i dont want to do another thing wrong so do i just buy a module or is there something else i need.....thanks for the help....
please respond asap i need to buy it asap
Hi..if your Optic 6 is running on 36mhz then just buy a Corona 36mhz synthesised receiver.I have a few and they work beautifully for a very cheap price. Just make sure the receiver you get has enough channels to use as there are many sizes to choose from.Cheers..hope this helps.
The Futaba operates on the FASST system and this receiver runs DSSS.I'm no expert but I don't think these two will "talk" to each other properly.Perhaps someone else can chip in to add to my thoughts?? Cheers
I would like to order one to but for my 2,4Ghz 3 channel (DSSS Modulation) Graupner X-3S (ISM-Band 2,4.... 2,4835Gh). Does anybody know if this Corona receiver wil/could work with my Graupner ?
if no is there another receiver perhaps that will work?
Best Regards,
Bjorn.
Hello i have the corona diy mod and it is working with the cr8ds. I just purchased 2 of the cr6ds and i cant get either of them to bind. I need help i follow the directions to a T I start the TX with the button held and the light flashes red and green. I have tried 3 batteries and a lipo attached to an esc and i cant seem to get the rx to power on or flash any lights. any help or ideas. J
ligue primeiro o tx com o botão apertado por menos de tres segundos e depois ligue o rx com o botão do bind precionado ele pisca duas vezes e pronto desligue o tx e o rx e depois ligue o rx primeiro depois o tx ( Emilio sp )
Be shure to watch the polarity of your connector to the rx. (the connector that feeds the rx)
Even when wrong polarized the led blinks. (but no binding ofcourse.
If you mean the HK-7x V2 I would give up. I bought one of these to use with my HK-7x V2 and had no luck, later found out that these apparently only bind with the V1. Got my money back on ebay though!!
Yes, but only when you will your Tx fit with Corona TX module CT8F or DIY module CT8Z. Generaly this Rx cant work directly through different modulation.
It fixes nearly all 6 and 7 channels futaba transmitters. I have been using it with my 6EXP for a long time with no problem and my friend uses with his 7CAP
hi, having a problem linking this rx to either one of my futaba tx's. one is a t6ex and the other is t8uap w/2.4 tm module. anyone have a solution or do i have the wrong rx. thanks for the help.
the 6 channel receiver to me seems to be a joke. it is the same board as the 8channel without 2 of the connectors, same size, almost exact the same weight and costs more than the 8channel.. WHY IS THAT ?
Yes i run this on my HK-7X. The binding process is on the instruction sheet that ships with the reciever. In brief and from memory hold the large button on on the back of the HK-7X and power on. Let go imediately or it with randomly pick another frequency. Power up the reciever while holding the button on the bottom in. power off the transmitter then the reciever. Power up the reciever then the transmitter and after about 25 seconds they should sync.
I have had no problem whatsoever with my Corona 2.4Ghz 6 channel receiver (V2 DSSS) receiver or the Corona CT8F 2.4 Ghz V2 DSSS module I'm using in my Optic 6. I'm using the receiver on my scratch built Funder & Lightning. I've flown the plane more than 300 yards from the transmitter and am always in control.

11 thumbs up!
Received two new 6 Chan receivers that I ordered. Installed them in two other planes and test flew them today and both performed beyond my expectations. Both were easy to bind with my existing Corona Futaba module and they both did not miss a beat in their operation.. I am going to order another transmitter module and 8 chan receiver.
6/12-2009 I have used this reciever for some time now in airplane and performance is very good. No problem what so ever. Corona recievers will work equaly well with the new HK-6X 5 model memory transmitter. This is really good value for money!

3 thumbs up!
Compared to 8-ch receiver even better binding - but probably just because I know now how to do it!
During binding and connect keep a distance of 1m between transmitter and receiver - no problems and binding is done in 5s as well as the connect afterwards.
Weight of the receiver is 13g. No problems during flight within a 400m range.
LED on bottom (next to the push button) is very good to see through the casing. Used with DIY kit and FC-16.
