Generally, you decrease diameter 1" and increase pitch when switching to 3 blade, a certain amount of experimentation is involved but certainly size size/pitch 2~3 blade conversion will reduce rpm too much [or over-amp an electric motor], so 11" is the way to go to start.

Hi.. I use both 2 and 3 blade Airscrew propellers 12x6 on my .52 ASP. There is no difrence in the performance. You can use the same settings to replace the old ones. The 3 blade is ajusted to fit the right specifications.
I noteced that the 3 blade sound is much nicer and alco looks much better on my models.
You can also use a 11x7 2 or 3 blade prop on a .50 engine.

Hello people!!! Is true, usually, for 3 blades you decrease the diameter 1 inch and increase 1 inch the pitch, respect to 2 blades. The performance is better with 2 blades, but 3 blades is more nice and noise reduction.

It's a little bit heavy to use with electric. But if you motor handle the power, just take care with current draw
