Our Easy-Fly is a large (1.9mtr) RTF glider made from super strong EPO foam. This model comes pre-built with motor, esc and servo's already installed. All you need to do is include your own receiver & battery to be ready to fly in 10 minutes.
The included and installed brushless motor and ESC provides plenty of power for steep climbs. The proven tail design and wing shape make this an easy glider to handle. The Easy-Fly also has a folding propeller to reduce drag as well as motor ventilation and an easy to access canopy hatch for quick battery changes.
Everything is included with this kit, all you need to provide is your own receiver and battery (around 1300mAh~1800mAh 3S).
Note: Due to the length of the products box, this item can only be shipped EMS Express. Orders for Air parcel may need to be upgraded to EMS Express at additional cost and time to the customer. Please select EMS Express when checking out with this item.
Ooops I didn't mention that it was the "Folding Propeller 12x8 W/ Alloy hub 45mm / 5.0mm shaft" that I was talking about for the Easy Fly to see if it fit on my NTM 2826 1000kv with motor acc pack.
Just ordered this for my NTM Prop Drive 28-26 1000KV / 315W motor with the NTM Prop Drive 28 Series Accessory Pack kit that has a 5mm shaft. Did I get the proper spinner/prop for my motor? Can I swap the blades off my original Easy Fly spinners prop blades to fit on this one?
Thanks
i landed and it nosed over and slightly bent the prop shaft, i need some sparesso i can fly under power otherwise it will vibrate it self apart.
other wise for the $$ good power and fun/easy to fly
if you want to you can do what i did and replace the motor (mine was broken after a head on into a fence)PRODUCT ID: D3128-1550 its a pretty cheap motor and is used on the retro pioneer aswell
Hello - anyone can tell me if it fits ?:

First I recommend finding the size by measuring and weighing the OEM motor. Then look at prop size, battery configuration and try to find a suitible motor with roughly the same specs.
When you plug the esc into the throttle channel of your receiver you will get power to the receiver and servos so you need a 2S and better a 3S battery pack, but just one.
hi.my easy fly is 1350 gr with fpv equipments.ı* am using 10x 6 prop.is the stock motor and esc good for this weight or have ı* buy a new esc and motor?
I've also mounted a fatshark equipment on it but with the stock motor and prop was a little nose heavy so I changed it for a turnigy aerodrive (outrunner), 35A esc and a 11x6 folding prop, now it is able of doing like 65 degree climbs, its great
PD. it is possible flying with the stock setup, i'm just saying that it's more comfortable to change it).
Plane type does not affect the range. It affects the stability and quality of your fpv view.
Yes! This is a commonly used glider for FPV. I' ll recomment it too!!!
And by the way: Tx/Rx systems suggested above by a customer are not the best for FPV. Systems suggested above are 2.4 Ghz and this technology does not give the highest range available!
You must use 72 Mhz Tx/Rx systems for the best FPV ranges.
Many posts here say that the ESC will not work with a 2S battery, 3S is required. I have not tried a 2S in mine, but it has worked well with a 3S 1600mAh LiPo.
**To prevent the aluminum wing joiner tube from getting bent forward on fast landings, stretch an 8" long piece of clear packing tape (1.5" wide) across the top of the fuselage and onto the wings at the trailing edge of the wings. And 2 pieces under wings at the same place.
If your joiner tube has gotten bent, you can use 2 screwdrivers inserted into the tube for leverage, place your thumbs near the center, and *gently* bend the tube straight.
If your body is fine, all you have to do is tighten the motor to the bench.
But on the contrary, if the fuselage is broken or repair for or Hobbyking has no replacement.
OK, I'm having a problem with trying to get the motor to run every thing is installed and works, aleron, rudder, elvator. no instruction I have turned on the trans, first then connected the lipo battery and the ESC makes a couple of beeping sounds. I know esc's have a step by step to get the throttle to work. I can't figure this one out. Maybe a inop motor?? Thanks ahead of time, Pete
Your throttle stick must be in the minimum position when you connecting battery. If you are connecting it in full throtle you can enter into programming mode. Also you can try move stick to full throttle, the connect battery, and after beeping move all way down and then up, then switch it off. It is called throttle calibrating.
Generally I've found that if your lipo isnt full charged, that the esc will reserve any remaining battery power for control surfaces only, therefore cutting off any power to the motor. I ran into this problem when I tried to fly one of my planes and noticed that I had power to everything, but the motor. I then hooked up my battery to the charger for an hour or so and reconnected it to the plane and everything had power.

No cons: - motor & ESC. - aerodynamic horn mechanism for ailerons & rudder. Cons: - crappy servos, I had 2 failed. - not a floater, with a 10 oz wing loading. You have better choices: Axn (8.5 oz) and EazyGlider (7 oz). - stalls easily (same as a Cularis), so if you are a beginner, forget it. - defective canopy lock. - flimsy wings lock system. - pseudo-hinges. If you want better, then DIY.

PROS: 1. Well packaged. 2. Easily assembled - no glue. 3. Easy to launch. 4. Stable flier. Easy to control. 5. Very quiet under power. 6. 3S 1250mah work well. CONS: 1. Shipping rash on top of right wing. Not serious. 2. Servos seem to work hard. Rudder does not always center properly. 3. Rudder servo buzzes at center. 4. Decals wrinkeled during shipping. 5.Can't order spare prop yet. 6. No motor/prop specs. Above after 1 hr. use.

37 thumbs up!
Absoulutly delighted with this glider, the only complaint is it takes longer to put on the stickers than to build it. First flights this weeked, average flight time 30 - 40 minutes long, climbing on full throttle requires a little down and right, but up to 500 ft in 20 30 seconds. Using 2100 3SP Zippy from here, multiple climbs are possible. The name says it all it is very easy to fly and inspired confidence in this returning pilot.

Easy Fly replacement motor recommendation
Ventuerd out today for first time with theEasy Fly and its replacement motor - TowerPro 2409-18 with 25A ESC, the HC combo.
With origional prop it pulls 200plus Watts on the bench, and that translates to 70 degree climb, 20s and 600 ft from launch, multiple climbs on a 2100ma lipo, cool to touch after flight, better than the origional offering and highly recommended as a cheap replacement.

Receieved this Easy Glider on friday and was airborn today (saturday). Used a Rhino 1550 and a 6ch Corona RP6S1 and my Hitec 6ch TX. Will alter to 2 ch on aileron for brake function. Made it both roll and loop on maiden, but it was best fun just to glide around and "thermal" in minus 3 celsius. Have not flown sailplanes since late 80's so it was great fun for me. The climb was good at around 30 degrees. Great Value for the money.
