Hi. I Have Heard Some Bad Reviews About Rhino battery packs. Would you guys recomend the battery or should I wait for a ZIPPY or Turnigy to arrive in stock?
 PeteDee 189 points
With any brand you will find someone with a bad experience, The Rhino batteries are just fine, use them and be happy.
 Bruno 27 points
Hi, all batteries have an average durability of 2 years, any of these brands will serve you very well.
 LIEVIN 2 points
i use them on my radjets , they are just a little powerless than a turnigy 1300 mah but it's really near. you can buy them

Here is a video with these Rhino 1350 30c 3 cells in the Hobbyking RadJet with some mods done to it.

These are great packs in 1m epp 3d models!
 Hans Petter 22 points
I`am using them in a cessna 182. Great batteries if you accept 2c charging rate

Would the above battery be any use with a Parkzone Radian? Or any suggestions?? JR
 FRNFRN 139 points
It will be fine! You can also use a less C battery if you want to save some money (20 or 25 C will be fine since the Radian uses a 30A ESC).
 maukabud 408 points
Oh, you bet! I use them in my Turnigy Rogue (EZG knockoff, but larger)..the extra weight is great for ballast, and I can thermal for an hour or more on one single battery! Plus, you'll enjoy the extra confidence of having surplus power, climbout after climbout, when thermal hunting. Originally, I use these batts in my profile foamy pattern ship, which demands high discharge rates w/ no voltage sag...it's just a bonus that I can use them in my sailplane too. :)

would this battery fit in the mini e revo?
thanks!
 juicy 12 points
no this pack will not fit. it is too tall to fit in the compartment.
 nogahyde 75 points
Yes it would.
 MARK 5 points
nope, too fat.
 Enigmatic 5 points
No it is to Fat.

Is the charge plug a JST-XH? I'd like to use this pack with a Sentry 40 ESC, which has a JST-XH balance plug for sensing and protecting the individual cells in the pack.
 choukrou 14 points
Yes, it's a JST-XH.
 bighead93 70 points
Yes the are JST balance plugs!
 kwack chil sick 50 points
good power lipo
 riveraddict 6 points
Its the same plug as the electrifly batteries. I just made up an adaptor.
 BillH 54 points
Yep.

Works on a Turnigy 60a ESC.
 Jesus 5 points
Perfectas para mi Katana 3d de fly model, junto con un variador de 30 amperios.
 Chris 6 points
Yes, all the Rhino packs have JST balancing tabs.

Hooo I gotta say- these batteries rock! I've been using the Flightmax 1300mah 20C's and I thought they were the bomb...but these monsters have spoiled me even more! The higher weight is easily offset by the incredible power! I've switched to using these exclusively. (39" w/s Charger RC Extra 260 6mm Depron foamie). These batts turn this plane into a 1/4 scale IMAC competition bird, it feels like LOL.
 bighead93 70 points
Great packs! Out perform any of the ThunderPower/FlightMax in the same size.

What kind of +/- connectors does it have? Not Deans ultra I'm guessing.
 maukabud 408 points
I just got one and it had the blue EC3 connector. 10/15/09 Next month all batteries in this size range will have the HC proprietary yellow XT60 connector.
 bighead93 70 points
Looks like a deans but it is different. Easy to change!
 Rockin Robbins 15 points
Mine came with the XT60 and I needed that EC3 on 6/20/10. Now I have to track down an adapter. I bought it on the assurance from reviewers that it came with the EC3 connector. Hobby King doesn't specify for some very incomprehensible reason. Can they want to upset their customers?
 Dirk 3 points
Never seen them before, i don't run anything other than deans anyways. Wires are fat (12g) but fit deans no problem.
 gary 1 points
i ordered the radjet 800mm and got charged twice for the same product,i chatted online with 8 different people and none solved my problem, i got screwed out of 68.80,im pissed.
maukabud  408 points - 10/9/2009

So the info says these batts can be charged at 2C...anyone doing that, or are most ppl charging at 1C?
 helikopeter 16 points
Hi if your battery pack is brand new, I would recomend that you first charge it at 1c first for about 2 to 3 times , and then try charging it at 2c

I charge mine at 1.5C with great results.
 maukabud 408 points
Thanks guys....well since I will now have FIVE of these awesome batts I'll just stick w/ 1C...and keep enjoying all that power. :)
 james 13 points
Most of the time it is better to charge at 1c you get a full charge But this battery can charge at 2c. Faster charge time a little less run time. I have 10 batteries and three chargers so I always charge at 1c
 maukabud 408 points
agreed James....I now have six of these batts and two chargers, so I just charge at 1.5 amps...the oldest batt is still going as strong as the newest one...very impressive! Oh btw- using them w/ a Hacker A-20-26 and Castle 18amp esc. Unlimited vertical! :)
 juicy 12 points
you could if you feel lucky. at 1c they still charge quickly and dont eve get warm
 Austin 2 points
I have charged at 2 and mine are fine
 Chris 6 points
I charge all my Li-Po's at 2C (including these) with a Cellpro 10S charger. No problem.

Totalmente recomendables
 zaskarkid 343 points
are these the same size as the rhino 1350 25c?

Jednotlivé akukulátory vykazují ke konci vybíjení znaèné napìtové rozhození.(2,68V -.3.12V - 3,42V)Pøi vybíjení 10C.Je pravda, že pøi nabíjení pøes balancer se jednotlivé èlánky srovnají do cca 20pcnt dodané kapacity.Pøi vybíjení 30C to bude asi mít katastrofální následky pro baterii.Proto jenom 3 hvìzdy

Very good battery, 1350mAh verrified, ran it at 30A for 2 minutes and it stayed only slightly warm to the touch. I'm sold on these Rhino LiPos.
Thanks HobbyCity

I have two 1350's that I use on a Tribute with a Towerpro A2409-18 and it seems to be a very good power combo for this plane. The 1350MAH battery has loads of power and at 30C it holds the voltage very well. It's propped with a 9x7 prop for 3D and pattern type manuevers and after a 7 or 8 minute flight it come down with a warm battery. I just got a 2340 4s Rhino for a Phase 3 Squall and if it performs as well as the 1350 I'll be a happy camper.
