Hey HK, when is this going to be back in stock? Every time I ask you tell me there's no definite day yet the description says "available 30 days". Can you tell me if these are discontinued so I can order something else? I'm staying away from the equivalent Turnigy's for now because of the reviews saying they received bad cells.

every battery has to be charged at 1C .. charging over 1C will reduce your battery's life (but it's not dangerous to charge at 2C .. your battery simply will have less charging cycles and last less).. however if you want to charge over 1C you should use the balanced charge of your charger (even if the cells are balanced)

both are, you should charge at 1c to ensure your battery life is nor shortened, so they recommend 1c charging but also say that you should never go past 2c meaning that if you are in a hurry you can charge at more than 1c without any damage to the battery although the life span of the battery is bound to be shorter the faster you charge it

Can anyone tell me if the Zippy 2200mAh 3S1P LIPO battery will fit into a Twister Storm 3D heli? I believe the battery has been used in a Blade 400 heli which theoetically is the same mechanically as a Twister Storm 3D, but I would like confirmation before I buy the battery. The critical dimension is B (height) which for the battery is quoted as 36mm. The heli battery compartment is exactly 36mm and this leaves no room for error!RPL

2200mah 25c = 55 Amps Constant. this means you need a 60A. ESC if your motor works with these Amps, but if it works at 30A, you will need only a 30A Speed Controller.

Nobody can answer this question without specifying the motor on the esc,e.g. you can use this battery on a 3s 5A esc if the motor draw >=5A, or you can burn a 40A esc if your motor draws 50 - 60 amps... The battery is capable of giving you max 25 * 2.2A = 55A so the motor is the one that defines the esc.

You can use it. The real question is how much amps your power system is drawing from a 3s battery. If it draws more than what your esc is able to stand, th battery will supply the power and the esc will fry.

You can use it on any ESC regardles of it's amper rating. 25C only says this battery is able to deliver continuously 2,2*25 = 55A. But drawn current is influenced by needs of your motor. Only problem can happen when you have motor which needs continuously more than 55A, then this battery won't be able to deliver it and you will destroy battery (if you have ESC with more than 55A) or ESC (if you have ESC with less than 55A)

You can't expect hc to be 'godlike'. There are many factors affecting the release date of an item or re-stock - production delays, shipping delays, natural disasters, delays from the distributor, product recalls, product modifications etc, etc...
It's pretty unrealistic to get a firm date. And plus, you say "firm date of when it is expected" then expectation isn't a 'firm' is it?
All I can suggest is, order the stuff and just sit back and relax...because if you don't order, someone else will and it could be out-of-stock again until the next shipment - which means more waiting and waiting...
