I have two of this. Both the weight is 190gr including wire and plug. The information in the description is false.

You're right they changed the product. I own several of these batteries, from different batches. Old batch: 168 gr, new batch: 189 gr. It seems they added a kind of case around the cells.

I'm using this battery and charging it with the turnigy max 380w-20a charger with a hobby king 540 w power supply. I just charged my first battery and it was only charging for about 15 or 20 mins before it said the battery was fully charged. I bought this battery about a year and a half ago and have never used it, it sat in its box this whole time. Does it only take 20 minutes or so to do a full charge? I didn't even have the charger on fast charge... Just the regular Lupo setting. This is all new to me, we dint have all this fancy chargers when I was younger... We had a just plug you battery in and turn it on and wait fifteen minutes and it was done...lol thanks!

This can be calculated.. The battery is 2200mAh. If you charge it at 2,2A, it should take about 1 hour for a full charge. You say you've got a 20A charger, so you should be done in about 1/10 of the time. Your 15 minutes sounds about right, BUT... Now for the important part, this battery should only be charged at 2C (specs). Multiply the C-rating (2200Mah) by 2C = 4400mA = 4,4A YOU SHOULD NEVER CHARGE THIS BATTERY WITH OVER 4,4A. this will greatly shorten its lifetime..

Thanks Bramj! I'll check it tonight but I believe its is charging at the 2C specs.

Will this battery heat up after discharging? Cause after ten min of flying the battery was hot. CAn anyone help.
 julien 116 points
If it s a little hotness, it s normal... If it s dificult to hold in the hand, you must have to much demand of A with your configuration, or ventilation problem... Be sure to make Space between lipo esc and motor...
 AlexRaz 133 points
All lipos warm up when used. To rephrase what julien said, if it is too hot, the discharge demand might be too high for this battery to handle. You would need a battery with a higher "C" or setup 2 batteries and split the devices you need to power between them. Example, your FPV gear can use one battery while the ESC and motors can use another.

Good battery, especially for the price. But it didn't quite hack it compared to my similar sized KongPower pack in my Trex 450. The Kong had a whole lot more cycles through it, but it pulled away a lot harder than the Flightmax. I would recommend getting the 30C or 40C instead if sheer power is needed.

Good battery. Normally operates in modes up to 20C. It does not tolerate load 20-30C even short-term. Used in PA Extra 260 with peak loads 530W. After about 60 cycles of decreased and the maximum current capacity of approximately 20pcnt. Not related to the 25C constants. Not recommend. Three stars only for the price and acceptable weight.

This breed of zippy batteries have the same strength as a pack from the local hobby store except, they're 1/4 the price. I pushed this pack(3 cell, 25c, 2200mah) to 40 amps without breaking a sweat. I believe thats the "safe limlit" I wouldnt recommend anything more than that or your pack could turn into an expensive firecracker. Get em' while their hot!!!

Best Choice 450 Size Heli
2200mah 25c = 55 Amps Constant
2200mah 35c Burst = 77 Amps Burst

If you use a 700 Watt Motor then these can supply the power for hard 3D and if you use a normal 500W motor then this can run it at 100pcnt full throttle till the batteries are drained.

Most 450 Hard 3D pilots have 650W motors and these batteries.

They are the lightest in their range and C rating

They are the ones you need for your HK450

I got 5 of these batteries and I think they are excellent, I really dont see any difference between the more expensive ones. I guess I have like 25 to 30 flights on them and they seem to work perfect. No loss of flight time yet.
