re edit my previos statement just flew today with 45 amp constant draw and 2 of the 3 batteries puffed and didnt deliver power like when they were new so i got like 35 cycles for those batts and i balance charge 1c every time so for what you pay its ok but i think im going to buy rhino from now on just a warning to you people thinking of buying.
I have ran all 3 of these about 15-20 time each still same power im drawing 50A constant for 3 min approx they come down warm but not hot and there voltage stays balance between cells and they deliver very constant power throughout the flight
Will not really be higher enough voltage,it recommends 2 x 2s (7.4v) or 1 x 4s (14.8v),think you will need this voltage to give the power to turn over the larger engines.
2 x 7.4v 2s 2000mAh Nimh
4S1P 14.8V 2200mAh Lipoly
PB (Lead-acid battery) 12V DC power source
Torque*
36kg/cm (2000mAh Nimh)
45kg/cm (2200mAh Lipoly)
41kg/cm (PB Lead Acid)
I see 12 volts there with PB so LIPO can be used that way.
If you want an airplane to fly you really cant break it down into just one point. In order for anything to fly there must be at least three things. Thurst, Lift, and weight. These three things are what allows the plane to have motion and fly. another very important aspect is Center og Gravity, or CG. Without having you plane balanced proplerly it will be uncontrolable. but if I had to chose one aspect I would chose lift, but which is created by an air foil. but still this is not possible without
Those are the three main factors, but personally i think thrust is the most important. Most aerobats have symmetrical air foils that generate zero lift, they still fly, and don't get me started on jets (flying bricks).
Amazing price increase over the last year...More than 3x. My first invoive was 5.31, now the unit price is 16.81. Somebody develop a thirst for expensive wine in HK?
I bought several HK's 2200mah 3s batteries, but never had a low price as below $9. For a while the 20C battery were going $8.99. Now with 30C, the price would be significantly higher as it should offer higher performance (lower voltage drop during discharging, thus higher current and higher power output).
Hi! I don't know what's going on here... For me it seems like HK is going to disappear from the LiPo market... THIS IS ONLY MY POINT OF VIEW. It does not realte to any official information or something like that! I have a look at the stock of the German warehouse, daily - since weeks. Regarding my needs (3S 2000-2250mAh Zippy/Turnegy) there is NOTHING. Nearly all types are out of stock. Here, in the international warehouse, the situation seems to be going the same way. It's getting less. Day for day. It's flying seasong, guys! So what's up?!
Its a good idea to put em on the wishlist with email alert. In case the batteries are in stock you can quickly buy them before someone else does *-)
My flight season will begin in some weeks so hopefully all orders reach me in time.
Jason, what’s going on with the battery stock? Zippy’s have been out of stock for weeks if not months…flying season has started and we need batteries. I have looked at other places already but I keep waiting one more week hoping HK will restock…
Dimension :
Female side : L 20mm x W 15mm x H 8mm
Male side : L 20mm x W 15mm x H 8mm
Total Length when conneted together : L 33mm
I think, Info dragged from another page on this site so should be right.
Hope this helps :)
Not in the stock chasis. 105x35x17 Sorry, same problem here . Maybe you can mod the tape to make this one fit www.link 17 to 28. Or buy a less capacity one. Good luck
what do you think is better for trex 450...this one or 2200 4s 20C...which will give more constant head spead? ... 3s packs usually loose it when pitch is 11.
I asked howmany they were expecting to get and they told me 300-500 of them. Thats not even enough to cover the back order. I want the packs because they are a great price but I cant wait unitl flying season is over to get them.
I was told mid to late March. And your right they are saying. Early to mid April now. They just got a bunch of 2650's in too.

Very Powerful Flight!!!Unbelievable!!! For this Price you can`t get better Lipos!!
When all my ThunderPower-Lipos are dead,i will buy only ZIPPY-Lipos for my Helicopters..!!

60 thumbs up!
I've purchased 11 of these batteries so far. They deliver a useful increase in output (because the voltage drops less) over the also quite good FlightMax 25C 2200mah batteries. For example, we ran a test today comparing the 25C and 30C batteries with a Turnigy 35-36C (1100kV) driving a 12 x 6 APC static. The 25C delivered 7700rpm at WOT while the 30C cranked 8300rpm. Useful increase in power for a small increase in cost.

Battery weight 6.83 oz =193.3 grams The battery came perfectly balanced. Visually the Zippy 2200mAh 3S1P is very impressive, the battery leads are large size to carry the 30C current. (2200 x 30C =66 amps). The end connection is parallel to the end of the pack so as not to use up battery compartment space. The battery its self is firmly packaged in transparent plastic. The performance is truly "Zippy", giving a very noticeable boost to my 3D Typhoon! I have been purchasing 10C & 15C packs previously, but this 30C battery opened my eyes. For a few more dollars you get more performance (due to the lesser voltage drop) & the battery is not pushed to its limits in the applications where I had previously used 10C or 15C batterys. This is truly a 5 star product.

I have been using Thunder Power batteries in my T-Rex 450. They get very hot during my six minute run which shortens their life. I ordered two Zippy 2200 30C and have ran them through the 450 serveral times. The zippy batts do not go above 110F while the thunder power were near 140. Zippy batts will be the only ones I use from now on.

Just purchased two of these packs to run on my edo-models F-15 edf. Using a HET 2W motor and 68mm fan purchased from hobbycity and this battery it is pulling about 50 amps and 550 watts. I was slightly disappointed because after an aggressive 5 minute flight and great airflow the battery was pretty warm. Has not puffed at all yet but I would hesitate to run 60plus amps through this battery. When price is considered though, still a screamin deal!
