i live in california. has anyone else experienced HK sending the item to them through zurich?
it takes more time
it has to cost more money
it results in the items getting more wear and tear
i have spent a lot of $$$ with HK. if this happens again, it will be the last order i place!!!!!

LiPo's are banned from airmailing thru the chinese postal service, so the only sollution for them is the Swiss post service. If you don't orded LiPo's, it will arrive sooner and directly from HK

I just bought this set and it is version2 .Using it with the turnigy 9x transmitter. It did bind on the first try. 1. Hold button down on module then turn on transmitter. the led should flash from red to green which means its sending signal to the reciver. 2.now hold button down on the reciever and apply power. I used a reciever batter and it will work on any channel just pay attention to polarity. the reciever light will blink twice , now unhook the battery from the reciever and turn off the transmitter. 3. turn power on transmitter and reciever and it should connect and led will stay on on reciever.

If you are using MODE 2 like usualy
Throttle Channel is 3
|
|
|
| |
|
Beaufighter
(25%)
MODE has nothing to do with channel setup. Mode is stick setup. A mode 1 and a mode 2 (or 3 or 4 for that matter) transmitter from same manufacturer has same channel setup. JR/Graupner usually use ch 1 for throttle, Futaba/Hitec use ch 3. It has become a somewhat standard that throttle is either 1 or 3, however.

This is determined by your transmitter.
On Futaba/Hitec, the throttle is channel 3. On JR it is channel 1
I'm not sure about other systems but it's likely to be either 3 or 1 because they've become the defacto standards within the industry.
