can someone suggest me a cheap charger for this pack
 bogdand1 22 points
This is cheap and very good PRODUCT ID: Turnigy-3S. You can connect it to your car battery. If you need to charge lipo at home take this power supply too PRODUCT ID: IMAX-401 Or this one if you don't want to buy the power supply PRODUCT ID: TGY-3
 Phetalasy 16 points
www.link cheap and safe.
 bronya 218 points
You should have a look at PRODUCT ID: TE4, because TGY-3 provide only 650mA, and will charge this battery more than 3 hours.
 Andraz 223 points
Try tis: its simple and www.link
 Boaz 15 points
you can use this charger www.link
 gabercerle 33 points
I use thisone SKU=TR-5011 (type this into search and you will get it: TR-5011).... works yust fine
 wifly 50 points
the Hobbyking Eco6 will work nicely for this charger
 Ayush 1 points
Thx but i came across Turnigy 2S 3S Balance Charger. Do you think it is a better buy?
 bogdand1 22 points
It's the same one stated above PRODUCT ID: TGY-3.

Great little charger
 gabercerle 33 points
Sorry guys. The TR-5011 is almoast half the price and unles you are from usa the charger cord is useless in TGY-3.

When using TR-5011 you can use usually already present powersupply's that are prowen so you can use them no metter whar kind of power "dose" is used in your country
 dwvabeach 66 points
For some reason when pasting direct links in they get truncated so you have to search for them. The cheapest chargers are the "Turnigy balancer & Charger 2S-3S" and " Turnigy 5011 Balance/Charger". I have some similar to this from E-flight that work good. There are also some inexpensive chargers like the Eco6 that are nice. You will need a Power Supply for all of these. For the small ones first mentioned the little wall wart power supplies work well, they only need 12V DC and about 1.5 amps

just have a look here www.link this www.link personaly have the second charger i suggested to you.. very happy, even with 6s 4500mah charging!

Accucell 6 from Turnigy is a great choice, i have one and most people here also have, works with a nice range of battery.
 Sam 4 points
The Turnigy Accucel-6 50W 6A Balancer/Charger should be perfect to charge this battery

Buy an Hitec X4 AC PLUS.It has two fans for heavy charging. You will be glad you did. It will charge 4 different batteries at the same time. You can charge in the house off of regular house current or out in the field off your car.I prefer at the house because Hobby King makes buying batteries reasonable.Who wants to charge batteries when you can fly.But if you have to just do it off your car battery. I bought all my balance boards off of Hobby King.

since this battery come with E3C, I tried to change to 4mm. However, I got a small spark(short plus and negative) while I clip it off. After connector changed, charging is going well upto 12.4v, but it can not discharge when hook to ESC, ESC no response, receiver no response. Anyone has idea how it might be, or need some procedures to reset?
 roger 29 points
never cut the power leads together with a metal cutter..short circuit the Lipos and they can burst into flame!! as long as you got lucky and didnt blow it up it should work fine. its not the battery (assuming the pos and neg are correct on the new connector you installed) it should still discharge fine, must be your
ESC. roger
 gazza2009au 310 points
you have a bad solder connection
 The General - x5 140 points
You are a bad man, insurance agencies should avoid you at all cost! .... Most likely you broke a solder joint inside the battery when you shorted it... Elseif, your ESC is a disgrace.

I had charged my Rhino 1050mah 2S 7.4v 20C Lipo for the first time and it worked fine. After discharging, I tried to charge this battery for the second time, all the GREEN LED glows in the charger immedietly I plug the battery to the charger showing that the battery is fully charged. But after charging for over 2 hrs, the voltage in the battery shows only 1.4V. Any idea what is going around?
 The General - x5 140 points
You fed up big time... Foo the battery cells can't go below 2.5 volts if it does your battery is as good as lithium s****! It's beyond resurrection foooooo!

hi, I want to know, Its a 2150 mah so I charge for 2100 or 2200 mah, cause my charger skip only by 100mah...

Sry for my bad english

bye
 st200ol 258 points
Hi, Use the 2200ma setting, its only a small overcharge, also I find these packs to be a bit capacity underated anyway.
 RemiNadeau2727 21 points
Ok thx :)
 Bradford 5 points
Never charge more then what the battery calls for. A 2150 needs to charged at 2100 if your charger dose not have the ability to charge at 2150 . NEVER charge more then the 1C of the battery.
minitel  158 points -

Can these really handle 20c without puffing?
Krunchi  58 points -

Hi, What is hte safe charge rate of this battery? is it the normal 1c or can it take 2C?

Cheers
 dude_hdt 51 points
Newer lipo supposedly can take 2C w/o problem. I use a CellPro4S whose manual say 2C is fine but I still use 1C just in case. Now if I were at the field or in a hurry, I might try 2C.
 Patrik 12 points
Only 1C
chartphred  40 points -

Would this be a good Lipo to use on a Blade 400? Would it overwhelm or overheat the stock ESC?
 dude_hdt 51 points
Overheating ESC is caused by too much current pulled by the motor, not Lipo. Lipo also suffer if motor pulls more current than lipo can put out fast enough. That's the purpose of the C rating...as in 20C, 25C, etc... Multiply C rating by voltage to get max amps that particular lipo can put out, else lipo will be destroyed.
 Squib 111 points
This is WRONG info!!! Multiply the C rating by the capacity (not the voltage). eg, 2150ahr x 20C = 43Amp. (In your example the current would be 222amps! and this is bad)

Can someone tell me for sure, are these Chinese cells or Korean cells? Is this just a relabled Zippy battery? I just order 2 and would like to know that they won't be like my 2 ABF (puffed after 10 cycles).

34 thumbs up!
Bought two of these batteries. One still works fairly well after 5 cycles (not including the break in).The second one completely died after the 5th charge. I'm using a Super Brain 989 charger. Hard to rate this battery because of 50pcnt failure rate, so I'm giving it 3 stars.
