Hello,Can someone that have bought this rhino 3700mah 20c lipo confirm on the physical size of the battery. It is beacuse i have bought some flightmax battery and the size is not what was stated in the specs. Please help as i have a space constraint in my plane. Thank you very much. leo

Pay Attention to the thickness of 28mm! i bought 2 and packed them together to 1 pack of 8S and now its no 56mm anymore... its already 60mm! after 6 Cycles and hardly any heat!

ok, what im looking for is 3 of these 4s packs 3700 mAH would give me 6 to 7 minute flight in a 90 size EDF setup ?

Hmm.... I don't know big EDF's... but 3000 MilliAmpHours (3700mah * 80% capacity for long pack life) is equal to 180 AmpMinutes (3.0ah * 60 minutes). Computed further, 180 AmpMinutes / 6 minutes = 30 amps continous. 30 amps at 42 volts (12 cells * 3.5v per cell under load) is 1260 watts. So, if 1260 watts is enough to fly a "90 sized EDF", then three of these batteries should work. If you know how many watts you need, you can stick those numbers into the forumulas above and figure out how big of a pack you need.

wondering if I can place three of these in a 90 size ducted fan jet for a 12s configuration and the mAH 3700x3=11100

You'll need 9 of those batteries to make a 12s3p 11100mah pack. Three sets of three.

Three of these can be configured for 4s3p 11100mah wired in parrallel or 12s1p 3700mah wired in series.

These batterys work very well for me. I'm quite please.

On the bench I ran them at 20C for a good 3-4 minutes non-stop. The voltage dropped fairly quickly ( not unexpected at max continuous "C" ) during this time, however the batteries did not get warm. I also pushed the batteries to 30 C to check them. They did well, and again barely got warm. At the field I easily pushed 58A 880watts out of a motor prop combo, the only problem being that I hit my motor's thermal limit! After repropping for a bit more modest draw ( 38Aplus 550-600 watts ) I've been very pleased with the performance. Capacity is slightly better than stated.

Performance of this battery pack is good and no different from other brands. In this case the lower prices make a different. Will consider upgrading to higher capacity or purchase another unit to enjoy a longer flight duration.

Excellent battery, running at 50 amps and 650 watts no problem. Runs strong for 90pcnt of the packs capacity. Great bang for the buck, Decent quality, and highly reccommended.
