Hey, if I could wait six months for an order I placed because of a back order on one part...
That's just the nature of HobbyKing. Get what you can use while it's still in stock, and buy something else that will work if you can't wait.
I bought a dozen of these for sailplanes, and so far so good. What a deal!

Note* This servo is not to be used with Gyros.
The speed suffice its use with gyro, but why is it not recommended?

A gyro demands a lot of action from the servo. There is typically continuously more servo arm movement than on the Tx stick. The servo motor delivers a high torque, requiring a lot of current. But it seems that the digital electronics cannot stand that load for a long time.

For some reason this servo does work at all when used with a gyro, goes completely dead. Works perfectly when gyro is removed. Tried with GY401 and Telebee and no output whatsoever

I have used it with gyro anyway and had no problem at al with it. Perhaps it doesn't work with some gyros and they can't specify.

It IS a digital servo. You can tell by the small whining noise all digital servos make. The fast speed and high torque also indicate a digital servo.

I don't know about it vs. the HS-85, but it looks like it's aimed right at the HS-81 and HS-82. I probably wouldn't use it on a 3M sailplane for flaps, but I would use it on the ailerons.
