will this fit the AR drone 2.0? Run time?
 Russell 7 points
You need to replace the XT plug to a mini tamiya (or mini molex) adaptors are available in HobbyKing store.
Size wise it will fit length is perfect though a bit thin.
Run time it is roughly an additional 5mins give or take (but its output is much higher) which means it reacts quicker and can take on a better load.
 Bart 1 points
Yes this is well fitting in the AR Drone 2.0* Did my first test flight today after changing the plug from my drone mini tamiya to an XT60. Although i have to mention, i've ordered two of then. One battery has a false contact inside... i'm in contact with HK support. So at this moment only one operational battery.

this will fits in J3 Airplane battery compartment ?
 PennaRC 7 points
Yes it will fit but is quite a tight fit, if you have a look at battery dimensions then look at battery compartment dimension of the J3 cub you can tell if a battery will fit. With foam planes it is easy to cut a bit of foam out to fit a slightly smaller battery say if you needed 5 more mm or something.
 Fishermen21 3 points
Oh.. Try to fit this batt into the mini p51d mustang but it can't get in. The compartment for the mustang is too small needed to cut foam out.
 ahgamal 82 points
as long as u balance cg and ur motor is capable to pull the extra weight it will be fine.
 Mustafa 1 points
Battery live time not bad. not very good
 ben somes 35 points
yes it will most likely fit, as they said you just need to cut out the foam but make sure you cut it equal on both sides so your plane is still ballanced out.
 Fadel 1 points
Very good batteries for planes under 1.2 kg and excellent charging
THE Tim of DOOM  10 points - 4/18/2011

When will it come into stock? i've been waiting for 2 months and it hasn't come into stock during that time
THE Tim of DOOM 10 points
It depends on how popular it is
 HERBERT W. 7 points
As others have recommended, you may want to cancel the order and buy locally from a hobby store if you have a project on hold waiting for this part. If you know you will have a future need for the product and you love the price, keep it on order. Sooner or later enough stock will come in to meet the demand, but popular items are often going to be out of stock because others love the product so much they order more than they currently need for future projects. The maker sometimes has trouble keep

i asked the last night and the said it will take 2 to 3 weeks
 Lucas 22 points
It is in stock right now ! I just bought two of them :D
 Gregg 5 points
These are good batteries which fit almost everything and can't be beat for the price. I have three of them and they've been my go-to batteries for a long time. They are small, mostly square-shaped, and just the right size for good flights on almost all park flyers. That's why they're always being ordered. Worth the wait if you aren't in a huge rush to finish a project.
 ahgamal 82 points
you can place an order it it usually gets filled within 20-30days but you reserved the number of batteries you need. they r chep and for decent quality
 Jutaket 1 points
Very good bateery for every body
 ben somes 35 points
it's in stock right now, i just kept on refreshing the page and it was in stock but if you look now the battry is in stock and they have 10 .

Will these fit both the SKY-Cessna and the SuperCub-PA18 ? I had T1300.3S.20 on order but they've been months now.
THE Tim of DOOM 10 points
I'm not sure about the SKY-Cessna but i have a Super cub and use a similar battery so it should fit
 ben somes 35 points
I think it will fit in the cessna a buddy of mine has one and boguht 4 of these batteries he just had to cut out about 2 mm of filler to fit the battery in.
 rrdiniz 5 points
This battery and excellent proportion to the Aeros trainers, low cost, believe it worth waiting for the next batch.

 Leandro S. 24 points
Normally untill 30 days.
 rotaryforever 92 points
don't know sorry? have you checked the stock of the turnigy one?
THE Tim of DOOM 10 points
i have emailed hobbyking and they say it will be in stock by the 20th of april
 ben somes 35 points
There in stock right now usually every 30 days there in stock but they have 10 of them right now.
Arturo  5 points - 12/27/2010

Anyone actually charge these at 2C. Is it safe? Thanks
 CoreyH 18 points
I would not recommend it. Not with a battery this size. You will also wear the battery down quicker.
 ujvicsek 12 points
Hi. I always spend my 2C. no problem.
 martin555 31 points
i am using these in 300 gramms foam -extra plane, perfect.
 Eric 6 points
I have a couple of times by accident and have not had any issues with it
THE Tim of DOOM 10 points
It is not the safest thing to do but it is possible
 ben somes 35 points
I would not reccomend doing this is could puff up, I would put it in a lipo sack if it was your only option.
 zanek 95 points
It is not recommended, it will slightley shorten the lifespan. I have Turnigy lipos, and they say that they can be charged at 2c so I guess that it is okay, though I haven't tried because my charger isn't capable of putting out that much power
 Fadel 1 points
it would'nt recommend and it's very dangerous you're home make in fire !!!
oldazelenka  38 points - 9/24/2010

I orderred four of them and three packs has a bad cell !!! Is this bad series?
 Rafaelclacerda 18 points
Not, very good
 Rafaelclacerda 18 points
Not, very good!
 Dionisay 12 points
Had the same problem. Got two and both seem to have a bad cell. Mah also overated. I can only put slightly over 1000mah in the packs.
 Buzz Bomb 13 points
Never had a problem with flightmax.
 ben somes 35 points
yea there okay batteries I have one of my batteries cells not charging as high as the rest just ballence them and thats the best you can do these are known to have problems.
 Eric 6 points
when I ordered some batteries from here I had a bad cell as well but I contacted HK and they bsent out new batteries asap their CS is good
sbshaari  18 points - 12/30/2009

hi will these battery fits trex250?
 ben somes 35 points
Yes I am pretty sure these will, the only problem you would be finding is that they are to heavy for your heli.
Santoneski  30 points - 10/22/2009

will this work with a super cub lp with stock electronics?
 flightclub2 47 points
Yes as long as you have the lipo version. I am running a converted Super Cub with stock motor, 9gr servos, spectrum receiver, and 30amp brushed controller. Tons of power and 20 min flight times.
Tryin2fly  263 points - 9/20/2009

Thanks for the info maukabud Thats what I thought but wasn't sure.
Tryin2fly  263 points - 9/19/2009

Can anyone tell me why or what the difference is when it says 3s1p I know the 3s is 3 cell but what is the 1 p for? some have it some dont
Thanks
 maukabud 408 points
1p = one parallel. In other words, cells wired not in series configuration, but in parallel configuration. There's lots of good info on the differences etc. on RCgroups. :)
maukabud  408 points - 9/12/2009

After experiencing the great performance of this battery I ordered two more..... although this batch has the same (if not better) performance...I was sad to see that the wire gauge was changed from a perfect 14 gauge wire to a much heavier and un neccessary 12 gauge! Overkill! Also, the nice psuedo Deans T-style connector was replaced with a really heavy "double bullet" style...*snip*- right in the trash! HC, why?
 maukabud 408 points
Oh, now I saw why no more HC psuedo-Deans....sad. They were better than the actual ones lol.
 ben somes 35 points
I know the deans are much better connectors, What they have added on these batteries are over kill and frankly costing them more money.
viflyer  91 points - 9/9/2009

I like that lighter weight. Can't wait to order some. Just dumped my old TP 1350s. AND they sound like they are performing well.
 Aphinity 6 points
I bought two of these for use in my AR Drone and they easily get 50pcnt longer runtime than the factory packs, yet are only 300mAh higher capacity. The voltage drop seems very minimal. I recommend them!
viflyer  91 points - 9/9/2009

Early-mid August?? Gotta love that up to date info, ha!
CFEdgeFLR  17 points - 9/6/2009

how reliable is the weight? I have found that most of the battery weights are 15-40 grams higher than the posted weight.
 tomfrank 30 points
The weight of this pack is slightly less than stated here... mine averaged 115 grams each.
 Kip D. 254 points
Very nice and thank you. Might have to get some next time there in stock.
 Gregg 5 points
These are actually less than stated. Rare, but nice. Love these batteries. Totally ubiquitous. Fits everything. Great size/weight/power ratio and easy to work with. Worth the wait if you're in no rush to get a project finished.
 ben somes 35 points
Mine are as heavy as stated on the site, but mine are laso abit mroe powerful then the ones that way less because my freind has 3 batterys there weigh 8 grams less.
 Fadel 1 points
117 grams for my i think it's depend of the charge

True 1300 mah battery. Good value for money and quite reasonable discharge rate. This battery is cheaper than the Turnigy one with same specs. Great Performance. I received these with cells at

3.83
3.85
3.84
each cell. Recommended for models upto 500 grams.

This pack works very well! Am currently using in a EDF. Constant full throttle has not puffed the pack and the temperature is only warm after a 10 minute flight. I would recommend these packs to anyone. The price and performance is unbeatable!

Works well! Best replacement for the much more higher priced TP 1320. I fly the with a Super Zoom, the batterie is cool, powered with a APC 10/4.7 and a 2213-20 brushless with this 3S Pack. Takes 14.5 A, nice JST-XH balancer cable. I will order more for replace the old TP-packs.

20 thumbs up!
I just received 3 of these packs. I measured individual cell voltage on all three when received. Two packs were identical or within .01V, however one pack showed one cell .06V lower than the other two. I balance charged all three to top off the packs, and the ond bad cell dropped back .06V lower than the other two in the pack again. I did a constant static discharge test at 5A on all three packs using my ICE charger, with LVC set to 3.2V/cell. The two "good" packs delivered just over their rated 1300 mAH for 16plus minutes before the discharge terminated, which is excellent. The "bad" pack, however, delivered only 75pcnt of it's rated capacity, so that one has just been sent back to HC for replacement (we'll see how the warranty policy is handled).

I have just flown the two good packs in a GWS P-40 with a HC KDA 20-20L outrunner and GWS 10x6 prop (12A max at WOT). The plane has very nice spirited scale performance. I terminated the flights at 10 minutes, and had approximately 35pcnt of the pack capacity remaining.

Based on the initial performance, I'd give the good packs a 5 star rating, but my post was downgraded to 4 stars since I got a bad pack and have to go through the time and expense of shipping it back and waiting for a replacement.
