Bacter NOWAY. The nose cone should never never touch the prop. If it has marked it consider a new prop. Please. The damage a prop can do on blade separation is well blades are far harder than flash. I hope this helps.
Bacter What I do is a test fit, if It DOES touch HK sells a small file set. Use it to remove equal amounts off the spinner until the propr fits with about 1/16" gap, if the blade flexes under WOT. It wont damage the prop and still look GREAT BigSteveH
You can trim the prop slots with an X-acto until they clear the prop. Try to take a even amount of each side, you can balance the larger spinners with a prop balancer too.
Is the shape more rounded than a standard shaped spinner, or is that just the wide angle lens? i am looking for a scale spinner for my Rare Bear. This would also look more scale on planes with rounded- not pointed spinners.
I have fitted one of mine to an Extra 330 and it looks marvellous. It has just the right curve without being too sharp or pointed. And yet it does not give a blunt appearance either. Good rigid plastic moulding that will not distort.
you might need to ream the base of the spinner. But note that the prop cutout on this is for a gas/nitro engine prop. the SF 11x4.7 has a much thinner root at the blades, so it might not look so pretty! *)
Tämä Spinneri ei ole ollut kovin paljon käytössä, mutta laadukkaan oloinen on ja ennen kaikkea halpa. Huomattavasti parempi kuitenkin kuin JP muovispinnerit.
