why is is all the shrink tubes out of stock??
 Andreas 95 points
Because they are sold?
 Herman 38 points
Yes. But it's a little weird that every single kind of them are sold out.
 David 2 points
Any date of resupplying ?
 Andreas 95 points
No, but i think thay will be back in stock soon *-)
 Hussain Joharji 204 points
because it is helpfu of course :) .. the most importatnt thing is that it in stock now ... :)
 Giovani 22 points
because it is a very good product and has a lot of output, so it is recommended to buy a larger quantity and store not to run out!
Mark Henry  9 points - 4/1/2013

Is this fit for esc 12A? Tnx
 sharkey9 792 points
It should be fine.
 NewToHobbyKing 6341 points
Mark yes if you are only fitting 3.5mm bullet connectors. Anything 3 to 4mm it is great for.
 Blue__Rocket 63 points
won't fit!!! Far to small!
 NewToHobbyKing 6341 points
Yes far to small to fit over the whole ESC but fine for the Esc to Motor connectors. Also on for the other end to the battery.

 NewToHobbyKing 6341 points
Well it is as long as you have spare grams in your shipment. I you are only buying 1m and nil else the price goes up a LOT. It's base price is great!

Is this big enough to fit a servo connector through it?
 __nayr 51 points
i tried mine on hobby kings servo connectors and the shrink sleeve is to small. the male servo connector hobby king sells is 7mm wide and 2mm thick
 abdulahad100 363 points
No. A servo connector will not fit through this. You will need a 10mm heat shrink (PRODUCT ID: WHS10-RED)
 AeroEscolaFly 86 points
It will enough if you take all the small steel conector from the plastic in order to pass them through the heat shrink tube. I use a small needle to take them from the plastic.
 Nathaniel 7 points
I agree you should definitely use the 10mm heat shrink
 billum2 172 points
Only if you remove the pins from the housing and replace after pushing the wires through the heatshrink.
 tianshuang 2 points
No, this is too small for the servo connector, you may want to try 10mm one.
 tobias 13 points
no, you have to buy a bigger one!
 Marc 1 points
tke the 6mm
 Andrej 8 points
no, take bigger

Can I use a oil lighter for this to work
 shahwaiz 33 points
Try to use a gas one the ones used for cigars they don't spoil it.

 nguyentran 21 points
yes.i dont own a heat gun and as such i always shrink it with lighter. but make sure you dont keep burning at one spot, keep the lighter a bit further away and move around so the heat is distributed evenly
 Nathaniel 7 points
If you use a cigar type lighter make sure to move it around evenly or you could burn a hole in the tubing
 tobias 13 points
yes it will work, i always shrink it with a lighter
 PeepsDayz 18 points
Use only the blue part of the flame, yellow will burn it. Hope this helps

How big is the Shrink Tube after the shrinking?
Thanks
 Timymimus 44 points

DerDepronTyp after the shrinking 3mm. I hope this helps.
 MP3_tilaco 26 points
encoje a la mitad del diametro original.
 okie_1 11 points
most all heat shrink tubing will shrink to approx. 1/2 of it's original size
 LUNDY 282 points
It depend's on how much heat you gone use,if you have a hot air blower of 1500 Wath and go close to the object the tube will shrink to about 2mm to 2,5mm add the heat bit by bit not a full blast of hot air in one time is giving the best results . If you use a lighter, you are burning the shrink tube and damage it use a good hobby hot air gun.
 Richard 15 points
If you use to much heat it will split. other than that it works very well.
 Dillzio 403 points
2.5mm after shrinking. Perfect size for terminals on XT-60 plugs.
 Angelo 1 points
Use 5mm. Is suficient.
 henry 4 points
it shrinks half its size and is perfect for most connectors you can also stretch it out with a pear pliers put them in the middle then open them
 Vulture231 59 points
It will shrink to the size of the connector/wire inside the heat shrink tube with a minimum of 2 or 2.5 mm. Electronic stores have shrink tube that shrinks a factor 3.
 Kirill 72 points
General rule of thumb is: the shrinking tube shrinks to 2/3 of it's original diameter.
 luigi 9 points
just 2 or 2.5
 AeroEscolaFly 86 points
2.5 mm diameter after shrinking.

Guys is the 5mm the diammeter or the width of tube squashed flat?
 futurebreeze 35 points
It is the diammeter.

 Rinaldo Salmazo 9 points
The 5mm is the diameter. After you warm up it, it gets 3mm.
 Kellyann 16223 points
Rinaldo thank you I got that from futurebreeze I wish I could reward more than one person Sorry.
 ThatNinthGuy 9 points
It's the before-heating diameter
 Richard 6 points
diameter before heating, will shrink to approx 50pcnt
 Uberfest 31 points
montei uma dessas em um bobcat com 2627edf, certamente o motor fica voltado para traz mais funcionamento é perfeito....

Mine "5mm" tube has a round inner diameter of 5.28mm before shrinking. They fit very well on "4mm gold connectors" wich have an outer diameter of 4.90mm. After shrinking the minimal inner diameter is about 2.60mm.

11 thumbs up!
This seems to be just like the high quality Polyolefin shrink tubing I buy from the local electronics store for about 15 times the price. This shrink tube is flexible, shrinks to about half it's original size and seems to handle high temperatures. 11/30/07
