would this work with a battery connection
 Trigger22250 80 points
I use it on my XT60 connectors all the time

It depends on the wire diameter you want to cover. For your reference, the tube diameter reduces to 2.5mm minimum. I used it for XT60 too and works very well. Best Regards!

it will fit for 4mm bullets and 3mm bullets. Not for thick wires. I recommend to buy many shrink tubes with different diameters 1m each - it's always good to have.

Yes you can use this for yours connectors.

I would also go with the 6mm, especially on shorter wires where heat from soldering might start the shrink process if the shrink wrap is already on wire e.g. when soldering battery connectors.

Chris good point. It would not be the first time that I have done that too!

Is this suitable for 4mm gold connectors.
 Senator315 1940 points
It might be a tight fit if you get some solder on the outer part of the connector. I think the 6mm will be a better choice.

Agree with senator 314 Cuz my solder caused a sharp edge, and it shrink too tight and broke

I always use 5mm heat shrink for 4 mm gold connectors. Fits nice
 NewToHobbyKing 13283 points
Lana I must agree with Senator. I find 6 mm is far more versatile. Both 5 and 6 mm will work. But if you have thicker cable going into it then you will be happy you got 6 mm!

11 thumbs up!
This seems to be just like the high quality Polyolefin shrink tubing I buy from the local electronics store for about 15 times the price. This shrink tube is flexible, shrinks to about half it's original size and seems to handle high temperatures. 11/30/07
