Yeah, these are idea for the (EPS) GWS Warbirds like the Mustang, Zero, etc. FOr those, these work very well. Anything over about 21oz, and you're asking for trouble on the rough landings. But for $9 it's easy enough to replace them! Buy 2 r 3 sets when you order. *)

These are top little retracts. They have good positive lock up and lock down positions making it easy to dial in your servo correctly.
The metal legs that come with them are very stiff and you need a hacksaw to cut them down if needed, however, they are easily replaced with lower gauge piano wire etc if that is strong enough for your application.
Yes, they will break if you are careless enough on a landing, but you really need to mess it up, and at this price you can always buy a second pair to have on hand for some spares.
My application was the nasty Ultrafly P51. Anyone who has one of these planes, don't bother with the stock retracts - buy these instead. They will bolt straight into the mounting points for the Ultrafly ones (with a couple of new holes drilled, but really straightforward). Another tip for you - get your flying weight down to 610g, but I digress.
Good retracts - for faster planes I wouldn't want to go above 700g, but for slower ones I reckon they could safely land birds up to 900g on a good surface.

Do not be fooled by the weight used to calculate shipping. These guys are realy light - ca 5 grams per complete retract.
The legs are made of carbon rods. Very stiff. If you neeed stronger but heavier solution - could be replaced by steel wire. Also the quality of the mechanism is superb. I have their cheaper version (light blue not marked by GWS) also purchased from here. They work also well but not so smooth (9 grams servo needed). With these retracts simple 5 gram servo has enough power to operate both retracts fitted with super-light 40mm wheels. This means that ca 20 grams is all your folding landing gear - it is the sameor less than non-folding gear made of steel wire!
very tough composite material. rods are a bit week, but better than the glass. it locks in very well, no jiggle. but i ordered two sets of these one was sadly a bit loose in both locked positions. very hard to fix that problem. but still great stuff, using it in a ~600g EPP BobCat. i'll buy it again.

Very nice retractable micro gears. Has the locking cam for the extreme positions. Will definitely be getting these again.
