HobbyKing re: Order # 200619743 I recieved my order today August 31, 2009. Attached is a photo of the Electric Turnigy Motor (TURNIGY 50-65D 270kv Outrunner) that I received as part of my order (Order # 200619743, Date: 26/8/2009 ). I have included 3 photos to illustrate the following points. Most importantly the TR50-65D 270KVmotor arrived without the hardware as shown on the web page photo to include the Motor Mount, the Propeller Adaptor mount and the associated screws and washers. If they are not supposed to be included then the photo should not include those items. I recently purchased 2 motors from a competitor and they both had the included hardware in question.
Is There any way to get these items short of odering them as additional parts. Thanks

could anyone advise what I need to use as min 'C' rating .. using 6S battery pack. From the reviews, it looks like it will draw approx 40 amps 'constant' for the duration of the flight, using an 18x8 prop and 6S pack. Thanks, William .. sirwiam*yahoo****

For this application it is more than enought to use a 15C or 20C 4000mAh - 5000mAh battery pack. But with an 18x8" prop you can not Fly a normal plane, the pitch speed is to slow. Please use a prop with more pitch and diameter, take an 19x12" prop for 6S Lipo (37 amps) or better take an 18x12" prop and 7S Lipo (41 amps) otherwise it will not work!! This Motor (270KV) is designed to use with 8 to 9 S Lipo.

Hello, Does any one know What timing mode should I use with this motor and the Turnigy Sentilon 100A HV? Can I have a quick explanation about timing modes?

Hallo,
Normally small timing is for motor with few magnets as most in-runners. Higher timing is for outrunners with many magnets. The bigger the airscrew, the higher the timing must be set up. If timing is too low, the motor will start sreaming loudly. To solve this problem setup the timing up higer or use a smaller airscrew. But the higher the timing mode, the lower the eta!
So try it, and put the throttle immidiately to stop, when your motor starts screaming.
