Align38 (50%)
Does this servo is compatible with a T-rex 250 as the tail one?
   rossco34 (84%)
Yes it is, This servo is awesome as a tail servo for any 250-450 heli.

.07 is very fast....be sure to set your gyro to 'DS' mode to get the best out of this servo.

HTH :)

Is this the same servo as LogicTech 3100G?

David (54%)
Can anyone definitively tell me if these will fit or work on a Blade 400?
Will they fit in the small space that existing 2 Eflite servo's go into the space behind the main shaft? Or can someone tell me what servo's HC sell that will fit?

Brunogagnon (50%)
No it does not get hot. Warm... I woyld also say no. But I just hoover. Newbe... *)

robl45 (54%)
right, trying to figure out how to run it on a gy401
   Nikx012 (39%)
It will run perfectly on a gy401 with ds switch on
   .:d3x:. (67%)
what about HK401b ? Same position ?
   rossco34 (84%)
Yes, this is a proper digital servo.

Set your Gyro to 'DS' mode.

Brunogagnon (50%)
on the logictech I have been running it in DS mode for months.
   Paris (25%)
does it get warm or even hot?

Paris (25%)
somebody in the review section find the specs from the manufacture.

not DS compatible with 401 gyro.
not to use on 6 volts.

so if it's not DS compatible,
i would choose normal mode on the 2100 logictech gyro as well.
   robl45 (54%)
isn't DS digital servo mode? So it can only be run as an analog servo?
   fabio2638 (52%)
I use in trex450 with gy401 in ds mode, not so warm... But I'v add a diode to do step down voltage. I get 6v-0.8=5.2V with align esc bec=6v. 10 flight and no problem for now.
   Nikx012 (39%)
DONT RUN AT 6v.IT is compatible with DS switch on GY401.Very qiuck servo

robl45 (54%)
2 times people have asked if it will work with ds mode on gy401 gyro, please answer
   Nikx012 (39%)
YEs it is.I have been useing it for 50+ flights, very crisp and quick servo
   .:d3x:. (67%)
what about hk401b ? digital on ?

Brunogagnon (50%)
OK I just answer myself. I just ordered a set of metal gears for the Log...c 3100. Which is the same.

HTH

Thank you

Brunogagnon (50%)
where can I find a replacement gears kit for it?

Thank you,

Bruno

robl45 (54%)
yes, I have same question, will it work with DS mode on gy401?

Jonathan (40%)
It is compatible with DS mode of GY401 Gyro?
   Nikx012 (39%)
YES i have been useing it with DS switch for over 50 flights with no problems.Very fast servo

Jonathan (40%)
Ca i use it with 6v?
   ppxav (86%)
no way,it'll burn at more than 4,8v ,use a stepdown regulator if use bec delivering 5,1v (i burned 1 myself, with freshly charged battery, meaning 5,1v is too high!)
   Terence (76%)
Would like to add that most external BECs are rated 5v, but they are really 5.2V. Phoenix ESC series built-in BEC is exactly 5.0V so I have no problem when using such micro servos with it.
   Sam (20%)
Have a look at the INO-LAB website It will do 6 volts and does work with the GY401 gyro
