Specs mention an 8 amp max load, so a 9 amp speed control will suffice? Can someone please confrim. Thanks.

A larger ESC is OK to use on a lower rated motor...

Hi, all I want to mount the motor but I wan't to use the prop Saver, but the shaft bothers to put it, Do I have to make a hole on the Prop Saver??

I bought one of these motors. But I have a problem. How can I change the shaft? I wanted to put it on the other side of the motor, but I don't know how to remove it.

Sorry for my bad English *)

take away the ring that is securing the axis, open the grub screw (there is just 1) and then you can push the shaft to the opposite side. It may take some force to push it. Don't forget to fix again

10 thumbs up!
This is a great motor. Stays cool when run with a GWS 9x4.7 prop on a 900mah 7.4v lipo. Gives my small foamie 12 minute flights with unlimited vertical performance. I am using the Turnigy plush 10a speed control, and it doesn't even get hot.

Turnigy finish is great - I like it, but it doesn't not provide 70plusW as indicated. Realistically it can be operated at around 40W. At 60W it's getting hot. My (heavy) Shockflyer weighs 370gr. and it can be "flown around" but with limited 3D and no hovering. For the Power/Price ration there are better products on this site here

6 thumbs up!
I put one of these in my Infineon shock flier and it has more than enough power to get the job done. Slinging a GWS 9x5 prop on a CC Thunderbird 9A ESC powered by an HXT 620mAh 7.4V Lipo. Great little motor for the money. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

motor looks well made.I tried to use 3 cell lipo & it burned in less than 30 sec.Took it apart now need to find someone to rewind it.I think it would work well on 7.4v
