The DH Beaver is without doubt one of the most widely know STOL "bush planes" and has become an aviation classic, good looking, powerful, tough and very capable, the Beaver was ideally suited to operating in the most hostile of conditions. As it could also be fitted with floats or skis, the Beaver became a hugely popular workhorse with both Civilian and Military Operators, despite a slow start, the Beaver became a huge sales success and ranks as one of Canada's most successful exports.
This Beaver is modeled in the "Kenmore Air" scheme and has a superb, high detail scale finish. The airframe is nicely constructed and the covering expertly applied. This model features printed rivets and panel lines on the covering providing an ultra-realistic finish. This gives you a truly fantastic looking scale model that any pilot would be proud to own. With a 1620mm wingspan, the Beaver is a great size and has tons of presence both on the ground and in the air.
This model can be finished in both electric or glow configuration. The windshield doubles as a removable magnetic battery hatch allowing for easy access to the inside of the model - perfect for accessing your flight battery when used in an electric configuration.
The Beaver of course was famous for its superb STOL characteristics and this model is no exception. Landings are a breeze thanks to the large wing area and stable slow-flight characteristics. This fantastic looking DH Beaver is such a pleasure to fly and is very practical, the perfect every day model for even the most demanding RC scale pilots!

Always up grade the hardware on any HK plane its is cheap and weak and will break on hard maneuvers . Had it happen on 3 planes. I was lucky to save the planes. Use dubro hinges and control horns you will be much happier.
I ordered this plane and received it in great condition. It is a really nice plane, nicely finished. Have not flown it as yet. I did however order a set of 60 size floats from Hobby King for it. The floats came with no damage to the shipping cartons. However, one float has a 1 1/2 inch crack on it. I contacted Hobby King about it, and after sending 22 pictures of the cartons and the floats, Hobby King decided to give me a $5.00 store credit!!! It cost me $49.00 for the floats, and $53.00 to ship to the U.S.A..... And they want me to take a $5.00 store credit????
Be careful of products from this supplier! They obviously have NO Quality Control procedures set up. The float was SHIPPED to me damaged BEFORE it ever went into the cartons!!! F.Y.I.....
