Hi can anyone tell me what esc to use with this motor, will a 60 amp be enough to use on a tri 40 high wing trainer running a 12x6 prop

yeah mate a 60 amp would be more than enough if you only running a 12X6 on it it should only draw around 35 to 40 amps may burst to about 55 amps

Great - powerfull motor! I put the motor in Yak 54 Monster kit with 5C LiPo. Just well balanced (CG) and great performance. Plane goes straight up, plenty power for 3D. Comparison with .46 is fair!
