NTM Prop Drive motors are rock-solid performance outrunners with tight windings, quality bearings, correctly rated magnets, balanced stator and flux rings, tool-steel shafts plus they are QC checked at 14 points, from material processing all the way through to final dyno test.

Because we design and build these motors completely in-house (from 3D/2D drawing to materials sourcing, machining, balancing, final assembly and dyno) we can completely control production and ensure product consistency from design right through to shipping the product to you. The removal of middle-men has meant we can drive better value to the market and retail these motors at factory(our) prices! All performance figures are real and tested on our own motor dynos.

Our QC engineer checks and balances each motor before shipping to the HobbyKing.com warehouse.

So one side has 3 mounting holes and the other has four?

None of the NTM motors come with adapters. You need to buy the appropriate accessory kit for the size motor being purchased. You can find the specific one for these motors by doing a search for PRODUCT ID: NTM35-ACC Also keep in mind that you will need to purchase 1 kit for each motor so a Quadcopter would need 4 of these kits for 4 motors. Got one, haven't ran it yet, does the shaft reverse at all? Not having any luck finding one with three mounting screws since it didn't come with one.... Dun left me hangin.

They sell prop adapters that mount to the 3 hole side. You can also drill a hole in the motor mount and mount the motor from the underside. I mount the motor on top with shaft sticking through on the motor mount (or you can cut it off) and use the NTM Accessory package (you'll need 4 sets) for the 3 hole prop mount adapter. Overall this is a powerful motor for the money. With a 10x4 prop easily puts my 1500mm 3plus pound piper cub verticle to no end! And with a 10x6 prop it easily gains extra run time with little loss of power to climb. Love the prop adapter combo. Easy to build and mount. Very low cost with the perfect fit for 4mm props like the master airscrew brand props. Will buy again. 4 crowns on quality because it is slightly noisy. Will see how many flights i can get out if this motor before possible bearing failure. Runs cool too. Cooler than battery and esc.

I'm using these on my Quadcopter. 5.2 lbs AUW using 30amp ESC's it runs awesome. I use 10x4.7 props and with a 3600mah 3s lipo I'm getting 5 minutes of safe flight time. I have over 200 flights with these and at lease 10 crashes causing broken props. I even take off and land in salt water. I do keep them well oiled and dry them after running if the get wet. I have run these same 4 motors fully submerged in fresh water. ZERO PROBLEMS. http://youtu.be/uwK03SSgQjk

Excellent brushless motors with plenty of power and excellent performance. I have been using these on several scratch built quads and I have only received one with any sort of defect. The Accessory pack prop adapter holes were drilled too small on one motor out of the 20plus i have purchased to mount the adapter. a quick fixup with a drill and it was in perfect working condition. I have not needed to ever balance these motors throughout their lifetime and after a few crashes from 40plus feet i've only needed to ever dust them off maybe fix a broken prop and i was right back in the game. Durability is impressive on these motors. All of my quads weight about 2kgplus loaded with FPV equipment and i've had multiple successful flights with these rock solid performers. Fully capable of rapid flips and loops when paired with multistar ESC's, and SF props.
