More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech lithium polymer batteries are built with an LiCo nano-technology substrate complex greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance.
In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery.

* The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives.
1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.
2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion.
Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.
Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries;

Could anyone advise me on what prop I should use on my home built Cranefly autogyro. It has a E-Power outrunner motor brushles RPMV 1200 & I am using a HK 30amp ESC with the 1300 lipo the weight of the cranrfly is just over a lb in weight I would say similar to the Durafly Auto-G.

if that is the motor from giantshark you can use 10x4.5 , 9x4.5 , 8x6 , 8x3.8 it all depends on how fast you want it to be on a 10x4.5 it produces around 800 grams of thrust which is plenty for a 1Lb plane i would try a 8x3.8. Im a beginner so dont just take my word for it but ive flown 3 planes upto now so i do know something.

Hi Thanks for that. I have been flying ic for nearly 40 years props no problem but electric is a different ball game. Will try a 8X6 & see how my Cranefly autogyro performs. Regards max

With a new Lipo Battery Turnigy 1300 how long can you keep it before charging as my model is not built yet.

It will come at storage voltage so you can keep it in storage for months without a problem just dont charge it until you want to use it.

best keeping it at 3.85v per cell (storage), after a couple months, just charge it up to 4.20v par cell and then discharge it again to about 3.7v per cell, then charge it back up to 3.85v per cell, and store it away, it will last a very long time if looked after
