have just bought Dragon fly fro H'King and it says '28mm motor' and this was the only 28mm advertised on H'king EDF site so I presumed this would be OK. Not sure of your definition' soft' in you reply **does it mean 'low power'?
It depends, if you don't exceed the maximum current then it may not be an issue but then 30A is very soft for an EDF motor, also, cooling as always is paramount, a 28mm Heatsink would be a very good idea.
this is a good size motor for a 48" flying wing as it would fit in the pod, do u think it would work well with a 5 x 5 or 6 x 4 prop on a 3 cell battery?
