This superb looking T-28 from our top quality Durafly range and has enough scale detail and features to keep any warbird enthusiast happy. The 1100mm range offers the RC pilot a practical size model that can be easily transported and uses the ever popular 2200mAh 3s Lipoly pack, yet at the same time, the model is large enough to have presence and is able to tackle most airfields, not to mention a little wind, making it very practical.
As well as looking fantastic, this Trojan is plug and fly, meaning very little assembly work is needed. The powerful outrunner motor, ESC, navigation lights, servoless electric retracts, gear doors & servos are all pre-installed leaving you to glue on the tailfeathers and some scale detailing, bolt on the plug in wings and go flying!
We have flown this superb T-28 Trojan extensively during testing and it will not disappoint, there is plenty of power for those really scale warbird aerobatics and the airframe is viceless with no hint of a tip stall. The pre-installed flap servos have a nice, slow operation to help prevent ballooning and the flaps themselves allow the approach speed to get down to a crawl without a hint of wingrock. There is no doubt, this is one fantastic looking warbird and it flies as easily as a low wing trainer!
Yes it does. Elswhere it is suggested that the plastic trunnion on the nose gear is a bit delicate and folks are suggesting buying PRODUCT ID: HK-15094M to fit when (they say when, not if) it breaks. On this advice I bought one to keep in, just in case the occasion arises.
Can someone help me I've been trying to purchase the durafly spitfire from UK wharehouse and when I check out and pay through PayPal there's an extra £*12 on top of my total has anybody else had this problem
Just in case you didn't know they are back in stock,you can always put tings on your wish list and when stock come back in HK sends you an email,just an idea.
Just under the price tab you can see two little boxes,one is blue saying battery but if you click on the other one which is accessories you can find all the spare parts that you will ever need for the T-28 and the front landing gear is there too,if you have already found it then someone else might find this handy. :-)
Else where it is suggested that PRODUCT ID: HK-15094M is a good replacement because it has a metal trunnion rather than plastic, and is therefore more robust.

great plane and fantastic quality.very very nice to fly with no vices,very predictable and stable nice and easy to land.like all the durafly planes,you have to fly her all the way which i love she doesnt float like the pz version.very highly recommended and definitely one of my favorite planes they got this one so right.

Nice plane to fly, everything was in good order upon arrival. Everything works as it should do. Flight times are short 5 mins but maybe stretch this with lower speed. Only Gripe is that mine did not arrive with a pilot in the office! Good flight performance and good value for money!

I could not believe I got this for such a cheap price tag!
Its super detailed! got a perfect finish look and has a super quality overall!
The 850kv motor has plenty of power and the max current I had was 24 Amps - so the 35Amp ESC stays nice and cool as it should.
If you still hesitate -> dont anymore... you will not get something like this anywhere else for that price!

I will have to agree with the other reviews of the Durafly T-28 as it really is as good as it gets and for the price i can't see how HK does it,well i guess it only goes to show how much the other companies have been making out of us for all these years. This model flies just like a T-28 should do,it has power when you need it but it will also fly at a reasonable slow speed but don't try to fly to slow as you will stall it just like any plane. Not mush else i can add really as the others have already said most of what i was going to say,oh the HK UK warehouse postal service is quite good and it was delivered to my door with in two days once it had left the warehouse. Plus i have been buying a few other little products from the UK warehouse and the postal prices have come down now to match this,so we can buy the smaller parts for a good postal price. Looks like HK UK will get even more of my money now.

Bought this after watching the video on youtube for scott flying the A1 skyraider and T28.
Lets get the obvious question out of the way first. I've flown the Parkzone T28 and it's a very nice plane but compared to this, the PZ version looks like a toy. There is simply no comparison; this is the much better model.
Quality
The finish and fitment is second to none. Very high quality finish on the model. Looks amazing. I've given it 2 coats of WBPU to help protect the paint.
Build time
Couple of hours. There are a LOT of wires to plug in if you want to run everything (flaps, gear, lights, controls) and trying to keep the fuselage wiring tidy takes some time. You must glue the elevator into the tail section, but you could quite easily be up and flying with the time it takes for the glue to go off.
Scale looks
Top job. Couple of bits I've done to make it even better. Painted some parts of the radial engine so that it stands out better (the original part is plain black). Painted the exhaust heat shield steel color as per the real airplane. Only down side is no pilot in the cockpit but that can be added later; would have been nice out of the box though.
Flight report
I've not had a chance to fly it yet! but i understand that they are a dream to fly.
Bad points
The well publicized plastic trunnion in the front landing gear. This can be replaced by a new retract unit from hobbyking
