The P-47 Thunderbolt was produced in larger numbers than any other US warplane which was largely due to it's versatility. Originally a heavy fighter, the P-47 was hampered by "short leg's" for bomber escort duty but it was quickly discovered to be very effective ground attack fighter as it could carry a decent payload, was heavily armed with eight 0.50 cal machine guns and was able to withstand heavy battle damage, it is largely regarded as the forerunner of today's multi-role fighter.
This tough EPO P-47 Plug and Fly is a large, superbly detailed looking warbird that will take a minimal amount of time to asemble. The powerful motor, ESC are pre-fitted, as are the servo's which are standard full size types for the elevator and rudder. The electric retracts are also pre-installed, including a retracting tailwheel.
There is lot's of detail and a full range of armament included with the kit, the four blade prop really looks the part and this big "Jug" will look stunning as it straffes your flying patch! Due to a very light wingloading, it is a pussycat to fly and courtesy of the large pre-installed flaps lands more like a trainer, an easy to build, easy to fly large warbird with good looks and performance to match, a perfect addition for your collection.
