i have got one of these carbs that came with my turnigy 30cc runs great apart from i cannot get more then 6200rpm out of it and found it down to the carb i was getting no high speed needle adjustment, i could turn the needle all the way in and it would make no difference, can someone please help me, hobby king are sending me a replacement but its the same one as i already have on my engine. ps not enough power to fly my plane
Sean 6200 rpm on what prop size and brand ...it,s not the carb may be you got to advance the timing by moving the senser a bit toward the TDC . How ever them side piston intake have limited timing . Try an APC 18x6 wide prop you might get a bit more of it .
If you read the product description for the Turnigy 30cc it states the carb as being a "Walbro". This replacement is not a Walbro. HK is getting very good at simply throwing parts around with no description or actual OEM replacements. Be very careful when purchasing what HK calls"replacement" parts. Usually they are substitutes, not replacements.....
i wish that hobbyking would put down some specs, such as ventury diameter butterfly diameter ,,or atleast the brand name RUI ING or RUIXING or WALBRO or any manufacturer name and item number. not just carb.
