I know several people in my local neighbourhood that have axns. On all after several flights atleast one magnet starts to pop out of the motor, this is happening in all our models. Is this normal?
Yes unfortunately the magnets all start to fall out after regular flying. Lucky the motors are so cheap! You can try using at hot glue gun to 'spot' glue the individual magnets to hold them in place. Apply glue sparingly and try to avoid covering the motor vents in doing so though...
Keep buying more of these for other projects. Went well (with modification of motor mount) on the Radjet 800 with its stock 5x5 prop. Apply glue between all magnets before first use as some of mine came loose within first 1/2 hour of flying.
